Cuisinart Electric Grill - Brushed Stainless Steel

Great looking design. good for a single or couple. probably could get 3 decent sized stakes on it and four 1/4 lb hamburgers. Been making panini so far. Found ciabatta rolls at Walmart. Searching for rosetta and baguette locally which will be a challenge. Just pile on anything to your hearts delight. I would suggest grilling the raw vegetables a little first. I use deli sliced meat add cheese bacon tomato spinach leaves spicy brown mustard or honey mustard and even mild peppers sometimes. I switched to Med heat to give the thicker rolls time to get heated through or try starting them opened with the top up. Gets hot so keep children and animals clear. The plates flip very easily with a gentle pop of the button. Even with melted cheese on the non-stick surface I haven't had anything stick or need the included scraper. They are so easy to wash off I don't bother putting them in the dishwasher which I only use 1-2x/wk because I am using this wonderful appliance so frequently. This would be great for a travel trailer of rv when you have elec. You really can do most cooking on this from breakfast eggs waffles and sausage/bacon to lunch panini to dinner steaks including the veggies. The grease catcher is designed to catch drips from both plates closed/open(flat). Excellent. The only thing I have a little quibble about is when you have to get the top opened high to make a fat panini. You have to tip the front of the top with a pot holder to get it to flip higher. A small knob on the metal top (hot) would make an excellent design even better. No loose grease cups to walk away by themselves. So I received this Cuisinart compact electric grill and I LOVE it. It's the perfect heat and size for your cooking. It doesn't take much room and it's easy to pull out and put away. The plates are removable to wash. The grill heats on top and bottom. You could change the plate from grilling something to a flat side to cook some scrambled eggs. This is small but powerful. I've made numerous things on it from grilled pork chops to a full breakfast. I love it. I plan on taking this with me on our next vacation. When we go on trips and have to stay in motel rooms we tend to eat out a lot. This could save us money. Perfect size for traveling. I love it and have already recommended to brothers and sisters who also take trips a lot.

The griddler is perfect for my family of 4. Storage is easy the compact size fits inside the cabinet like a glove.

The Cuisinart Griddler Compact has been one of the best small appliance I’ve ever purchased. This appliance is extremely versatile and makes preparing dinner a breeze. Our family is always on the go. Between practice for sports or school events, it seems almost impossible to eat at home anymore. I needed to find a product that would make planning dinners easy and quick. The Cuisinart Griddler can be used in many ways. One of my children use this at least once a day to make a panini. I’m able to use it as a full grill or griddle, contact grill, and half grill/half griddle as well. My children are still young but I’ve been teaching my two oldest how to make simple recipes. This Griddler is easy to use and works quickly. All they need to do is turn a dial and it’s ready to go. Very user-friendly! The best part of this appliance is design. Again, I wanted something we could use often and quickly. I wanted to leave the appliance on my counter so it would be accessible. The Griddler is stainless steal with a modern, sleek look. It’s also quite compact and not over bearing in size either. I’m able to leave this on my counter for quick usability and it goes well with the decor of my kitchen too. I’m happy to leave it out on the counter because it has a great look to it and is still small enough to not be in the way. The reversible nonstick plates are simple to rotate for use and clean quickly too. The plates go right in the dishwasher! I can not believe how effortless this appliance is to use. Now our family has an appliance we are able to set up for a quick, yummy meal and I know I won’t have much clean-up after. What a wonderful product! I have no idea why I did not purchase this years ago.

Design is super cool but the interior packaging smells really really bad. The design for this is super cool and compact. I just got it and am already looking at selling a few of my old appliances that did similar things but not as well. I have a george foreman which yes is good for dieting but that's about it. I can't cook anything with a sauce or marinade of the old grill because it slides right off the slant. It was also a tough fit for the dishwasher. My new Cuisinart is way more compact. The plates fit in the dishwasher better and it's dual purpose with the grill on one side of the plates and the smooth griddle on the other side. It replaces so many appliances at a fraction of the size. I absolutely love that it can close as a panini press or for grilling both sides. Or even cooler it opens up flas so you can use both sides as a flat cooking surface or a griddle. My new Cuisinart also heats up way quicker than my old contraptions. My only complaint is the inner packaging box, the one that holds the appliance in place stinks super bad like it smells like manure. This is my only actual complaint about this product. If anything it's making me money and space with how many appliances it replaces.

I love that it comes apart and is easy to wash. Cooks great!! Quesadillas are so easy to make in it. BLTs are also easy to make. Everything taste good cooked with this. No cold sandwiches any more. I started to purchase a cheaper one but changed my mind because I knew I would regret it. I wanted one easy to clean and this fits the bill.

Well designed compact panini press, with a control button … it just too easy to be turn on when it's off, preferably to plug out the switch for more safety!after done grinding or so.. All in all worth its price.. Easy to use, clean and efficiently heat and fast !

This griddle has so many uses. It's great for breakfast items, grilled cheese, steaks, burgers and much more. The plates are reversible. Usable as a press, a full grill, full griddle or half grill and half griddle. The plates are even dishwasher safe. But, they are nonstick so very easy during clean up. The plates drain grease to a drip tray. The hanging cover is adjustable for thickness of food. It has an adjustable temperature for use with the grill or the griddle. It even comes with an instruction manual with great recipes. And with the Cuisinart name, I expect it to last because of it's durability. So far we are very happy with this grill and I would definitely recommend it to others.

I could hardly wait to use this machine … I've wanted a Panini Press for sooo long. First, the machine is so beautiful and shiny; it looks great just sitting on the counter. Setup was pretty easy. I love that it came with (2) trays: one flat/griddle and one with ripples. It also came with some recipes which we'll be trying out soon. The first thing I made were thick-bread garlic grilled cheese sandwiches. Can you say ooey-gooey yummy cheese? It looked just like the tv ads … one half of the sandwich in left hand, one half in right hand, and a 6” long swath of gooey melty cheese stretched between the two. Yum!!!! And it only took a few minutes. Next time I'll put the hinged “floating cover” to the test … on a giant Whole Foods inspired Pannini with turkey, crispy bacon, avocado and spinach on thick buttery sourdough. (Can you tell I love food)? This thing is great — it's even quick and easy to clean! You can wipe the warm trays clean with a cloth or use the plastic “scraper” if needed, or just toss them into the dishwasher. The only downside was when I accidentally hit a lever while wiping down the still-very-hot trays, causing a tray to slide out which mildly burned my hand. So just be aware there may be a slight learning curve until you get used to the unit. [I clean the still-hot plates on my GF grill all the time, but tray latch is hidden; Cuisinart latch is just a different location.] I'll remember that next time :-) Overall this was FUN to use, it makes a wide variety of food, recipes included, the large handle and hinged floating lid were very convenient, the trays are super easy/fast to clean, and the grease tray is hidden yet easy to clean. Perfect for a party of one or a family of five; easy enough for a beginner and more than enough fun for a seasoned foodie. Bon appetite!

This item is pitched as an all in one - contact grill, panini press, full grill, full griddle, half grill/griddle and in that I think it falls short. This works great to make panini's and pancakes. However, I attempted to make smash burgers and it was a mess. After that I can safely assume any foods that would yield more juice would too be a mess (burgers, steaks, chicken, bacon, etc). The device does come up to temperature fairly quick and seems to not fluctuate enough to impact cooking. The easy one nob and green/red light is great for a more novice user. In my attempt to make smash burgers I used it as a full griddle. Even though I didn't open and close the device (used full) while cooking the plate came disengaged/unclipped from one side. Not sure if it was from smashing the burgers. The drip tray path that they created is also bizarre and although it catches most of the oil/liquid some still fell on the coil in the back and on the ceramic stove where I had placed this for use. Cleaning was very easy and I love that the plates are small and light. In the future I will likely only use this for pancakes and sandwiches.
