Cuisinart Electric Knife Set with Cutting Board

My Cuisinart electric knife replaced an older corded model. I also have a cordless knife. This Cuisinart electric knife is a step ahead of both. Better than the previous corded model because it is more powerful and the thicker blades make it more reliable for heavy duty work. Better than the cordless model, simply because of the power available. The knife is comfortable in the hand and the sharp tip helps when deboning or carving fowl.

I bought this knife after reading the reviews and seeing it was pretty much the only knife that worked well for crusty bread. We love sour dough bread and so I violated the don't buy your wife kitchen appliances for Christmas rule and bought it. It takes a little pressure to start the cut but cuts the hot sour dough very nice with a clean cut and best of all the crumb mess from the hard crust is minimal compared with everything else I have tried. I'm very pleased.

I am pleased with my new Cuisinart electric knife. This Cuisinart electric knife is great for cutting my sourdough bread effortlessly. I was having difficulty cutting my sourdough bread because of my special low carb recipe. This electric knife cuts the sourdough bread into even slices too. I had looked at the other electric knives and they appeared much cheaper and flimsier than the Cuisinart electric knife.

This is our second cuisinart, electric knife, and we love it. The first one we had died after many years and we saved the two knives that came with that and can use it on this one.

We had originally purchased another brand electric knife and we very happy with it. We decided to get a different one and chose a Cuisinart. The first time we used it was to carve our Thanksgiving Turkey. From the first cut I knew we made a good choice. It was fast and easy to carve the turkey. The blades were sharp and came apart for easy cleaning. I liked the fact that it came with a fork and a holder to put the knife and blades away when we were done. I would recommend this knife to anyone looking for and electric knife.

Bought this electric knife mostly to cut homemade bread with. Works well, though I need to figure out how to get the slices consistent. The cutting board doesn't seem to be a great help except for storing the knife. So far, I'm moderately pleased with this purchase.

It worked fine on bread, but it was terrible trying to cut through roast beef. I had another electric knife that was the same brand that worked excellent but eventually the plastic around where you insert the knife blades broke so I had to replace it. I am disappointed with this one

We wanted to replace a unit that we've owned for several decades and thought that this was the answer. It was to some degree, but left much to be desired. It cuts wonderfully. Unfortunately, the handle is too big around making it difficult for either my wife or myself to manipulate safely. In addition, we have found that the housing gets rather warm while carving something as simple as a turkey. We've purchased several Cusinart products over the years and have been pleased up until this purchase. For this reason we will need to find an electric carving knife that better suits our requirements.

I just cut a turkey with it and it was a chore to cut through the meat. The meat got jambed between the blades which is usually the result of dull blades. My prior B&D cutting knife never had that problem over 20 years until the end. The blades are much wider but don't cut very well.

I have the old model for many years and it seemed like it was slowing down. I purchased a newer model and it is not as good. You literally have to hold two buttons at the same time (the safety release does not click you have to hold as you are also holding the on button)
