I ordered this after hearing about making paninis and I am so happy with it! This is all you ever need. It will go flat to grill, it flips to a flat grill so you can fry eggs or other stuff! I also ordered a set to be able to make waffles, oh my, what a wonderful grill this is with all I can do with it! Amazing, just amazing ! One single machine on my counter that has so many uses! The grill plates can go in the dishwasher! What more could I want?Dena
Easy to use. Easy clean up as griddles can go in dishwasher.
Superb multipurpose griddle! I liked it so much I bought a second one for my vacation home.
The waffles taste so good. I bought the Belgian waffle plates too and they really enhance the waffles. The deeper ‘trenches' hold the butter, syrup and the extra thickness makes them restaurant quality.
This little thing is absolutely awesome! It is lightweight and fits nicely in my cabinet. It's super easy to use, and super easy to clean! I love how it folds open and lays flat for cooking for a crowd, or stands up right and is perfect for cooking for 2 people. I wish I would have found it years ago! It takes the place of 3 small appliances, and is so convenient. I absolutely love it!!!
We recently purchased the griddler. Our first use was for panini sandwiches which were perfectly crispy and delicious. The recipe book is very helpful with some great recipes. It is very easy to use and clean up was a breeze. We are looking forward to using it for other meals.
It's sturdy and cooks very well. However, you have to be careful not to burn yourself because the top lid isn't insulated. Because of this you have to make sure you unhook the top part BEFORE you warm it up if you want it free swinging instead of clamshell pressing. It also doesn't stand upright for storage and doesn't lock in place for ease of movement when you have it unplugged. So be careful when you move it so you don't accidentally scratch the plates against each other. The instructions that came with it were minimal and didn't even cover the basics of operation, only some safety points. I don't want to scan a QR code for a manual for a basic kitchen appliance.
It is good for Panini butt as far as bacon and other things that has grease it do not drain properly there's not enough space for degrees to drain and it spills off the back of the griddle when pushing away the grease.👎🏿
Truly a poor design! Grease and/or fluid does not drain off the center back, but pools in the rear corners instead, to the point of overflowing. This has happened on two identical Griddlers! Also, when you raise the lid to check on food, it does not line up over the edge of the grill plate, but about 2” behind ir, therefore dripping any grease or fluid on the countertop AND the on coil that connects the two grill sections.
Total design fail. OH it has a drip tray. Unit is covered in hamburger drippings front and back...drip try has 2 drops of grease in it. Would not recommend and what a waste of money. They want me to comment on cleaning...a roll of paper towels and some grease cleaner...thats what I think of cleaning this piece of junk
