We were gifted the Cuisinart Grind & Brew coffee machine for Christmas 2025, so we've been using it for about 4 weeks. Yesterday the red "CLEAN" light came on, so i ran a pot of vinegar/water through just like the owner's manual said to do and the light went off. I love this coffee pot though, the option to grind beans is wonderful, yet we still buy grounds and that option works well for us. One thing concerns me though, and according to the owner's manual I am supposed to keep the GRINDING PART DRY, yet every time I make a pot of coffee there is a LOT of condensation that builds up inside the grind cup and lid, so i dry it out everytime I clean it after use. One suggestion would be to make that (wonderful) caraffe such that you can see the amount of coffee left inside, it is heartbreaking to go for another cup of coffee and the thing is empty. I would like to have a little window or a way to know how much coffee is in the caraffe after we make a pot and start drinking in the mornings. My pot works great and I love it!
I love this coffee maker, much better than the one we previously had. It's much simpler and so easy to wash the innards. The coffee comes out delicious, and the coffee maker stays hot for a much longer time. The grinder is perfect, very, very happy with this coffee maker.
Previous Cuisinart grind and brew lasted over 10 years. I purchased the same model hoping for similar longevity. I wash after every use, descale with vinegar when neeeded. This coffeemaker brew great tasting coffee! I did purchase a sliding tray to easily pull the unit from underneath the cabinet for easy filling/cleaning.
Excellent product, I purchased my first Automatic Grind & Brew 20 years ago. I had to get a new one because the grinder stopped working, however after 20 years I'm ok with that!!! I have left coffee in the carafe overnight and in the am it is still warm! The new model has a better look than the one I purchased. I do not hesitate to recommend this coffee maker to anyone, in-fact I have, and they are just as pleased! Great price too! Thumbs up to all Cuisinart products, I own several!
We had the older version of this coffee maker since 2018 and it still works. The motor started sounding weird after 7 years and we did not want to risk not being able to make coffee and purchased the updated model. It is just as good, if not better than the original. Great product at a quality price. Still keeping the old one as a backup.
In the late 1990's while living in Charleston, West Virginia, our first internet purchase was a Cuisinart coffe maker with built in timer and grinder. Originally from Washington state where coffee is king we love our morning coffee. The timer was set as our alarm and by the time I shuffled to the kitchen the coffee was ready, almost like having a servant! Over the years we have purchased several more and still appreciate the fresh ground morning coffee.
So this coffee pot does it all -- grinds coffee perfectly and then brews it -- all in one place. The thermal container you get is outstanding -- keeping coffee hot and fresh for hours. The machine is easy and institutive to use. Clean up is easy. Coffee is very fresh; very good; very hot.
Very nice coffee maker. I love using fresh grounds and the coffee stays hot for many hours in the carafe. Only issue I could see is if you are a light sleeper or sleep near where you brew your coffee, the grinder is quite loud but only runs for a few second.
Really nice coffee maker. I do the 1-4 setting with Cacao and it works great. The thermos keeps it warm all day. There is and probably always will be a bit of a problem with the hot water moisture with the fringing of the whole bean inside. Just gotta do a bit of extra cleaning
This is our 2nd Cuisinart Grind & Brew coffee maker, as we liked the features and brewed coffee taste of our first. Although our first model brewed up to 12 cups in a thermal carafe, the same size was not available in Cuisinart's current line up of Grind & Brew coffee makers with a thermal carafe, so we settled on the 10-cup model. We find the quality of coffee and strength-choice features to be similar to our first model, yet prefer the large-bin coffee bean holder found in our first Cuisinart over having to fill the small container/ grinder each time about of coffee is made in our new one. The 10-cup carafe meets our needs, as there are normally just two of us drinking morning coffee. The one feature we find to be annoying is the extremely loud noise the internal grinder produces when grinding the coffee beans. We press the ‘grind' button & hurry out of the kitchen with our index finger in each ear to avoid the high-pitched loud noise of the coffee maker's bean grinder. Additionally, it seems the grinder stays on for a very long time, even beyond the time it takes to grind the full container of coffee beans. Just be aware of this when making a buying decision. Other than this, we like our new Cuisinart.
