We bought this to convert our RV from gas to electric bur needed to use induction for the hot top issue. used it at home before going through the install. Worked great with our existing cookware and controls were accurate and easy to use.
Good quality hot plate. Great for small kitchens and good temps control
During my kitchen remodel this induction cooktop never let me miss a beat with cooking. Takes up so little space and does not need to be hardwired so can be placed anywhere. Since I had a sous kitchen built in my downstairs I had the contractor make a set of drawers that this cooktop could be placed in therefore not taking up valuable counter space and expense for a built in when not in use
My hot burner stopped working and needed new Liked the sleek look of the induction cooktops So happy with my choice for convience having double burner It looks sharp on my counter Heats quickly, cleans easily I could not be more pleased lLives up to Cuisinart name
Moved to a new smaller home without a range installed. A neighbor told me about his induction cook top. I researched and was impressed with all the positive things I read. The price for the Induction cook top was so reasonable I felt I had nothing to loose by trying it. Now I am the one telling friends and neighbors how fast and convenient it is to cook on the Cuisinart Induction Cook Top
This cooktop heating feature is fast and responsive. At first just having arrows to guide cook adjustment seems like not enough information. Once you get the feel for how quickly the heat adjusts it creates an effective and speedy cook process. Since giving up a gas stove this cooktop is supporting my new style of assembling meals rather than slaving over 4 gas burners. The support I receive is an efficient and easy to clean up meal prep. A bit noisy but my previous induction cooktop was too and you get used to it.
I bought this about a month ago and have used it several times in preference to my electric cooktop. The only issue we have had with it is tht the cooling fans are too loud. The induction cooktop in my other kitchen (installed in an island) had no fan. I LIKE THE HANDINESS OF THIS ONE BUT NOT THE NOISE.
The ICT-60 appeared to be a great addition to our RV kitchen since I don't like using propane. The double burner seemed to be a big plus. We use NuWave single burner induction cookers in the RV and built in induction in our homes. The ICT-60 has a major flaw; it plugs into a standard 120vac outlet and is limited by the amperage available. The single burner cookers work OK (nothing like a home unit) but the dual burner unit tries to divide the available power resulting in neither burner getting really "hot". Good for simmering and very gently frying but no way to get the large one to an acceptable level of heat. It doubled the time to boil a teapot of water from our single burner NuWave. It fits wonderfully on top of the RV range but it just would not do the job and was returned.
It is not faster. No idea why they sell them on speed. It does not get as hot. You can't grill on it. It just does not get hot enough to char.
When we are using wide base pan , the edges of the stove which is made up of plastic gets melted.
