I always cook steak from time to time. I decided to buy one so I won't over cook my steak. Now I have one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Thermometer because I bbq alot and my family is starting to get picky on how they like their meat,this Thermometer is really easy to use and has an auto turn on when you open it, it is also waterproof so it helps make it easier to clean, the best thing is it has a cheat list on the back for the different temperatures to cook the meat , and aslo a big plus is the backlit display to make it easier to read if it starts to get dark while cooking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thermometer is the perfect grilling accessory. I am awful at cooking meat. I always overcook it because I'm so worried about under cooking it. This thermometer is a life saver. It is easy to use. It turns on when you open it and has a backlight in case it's dark. The probe folds out when in use and is very long so that you can test the correct area of the meat or reach weird angles. I like that there is a calibration button in case it seems like the temperature isn't accurate. It also is magnetic so I can stick it to my grill when I'm not using it or on the side of my fridge so I always know where to find it. It's pretty handy that it has the correct meat temperatures printed on the back too. I love the simplicity of this thermometer. There is nothing to get wrong, just open and use. It's fantastic!

It's super easy to use and it doesn't turn on unless you actually pull the thermometer out, and it's awesome that it instantly reads the temperature even in the room.

The Cuisinart folding thermometer is very compact and user-friendly. Before use, you will need to install its battery. The battery is very easy to install. Unfolding the thermometer allows you ample distance to insert the probe easily and accurately without sacrificing the deep interiors of thick meat briskets, turkey, or chicken. The length of the probe is just perfect for all thicknesses of meats. Once the probe is inserted, you get a very quick temperature reading. I've used non-digital/analog temperature probes and found the Cuisinart reading to match readings against these types of devices. I was very confident with the integrity of its temperature readings. The packaging and instruction manual is very supportive and protective. Its instructions are clear and easy to follow. Overall, the Cuisinart Folding Thermometer is a very good product and I give it a 4-STAR Rating.
