Cuisinart Large 17" Reversible End Grain Acacia Cutting Board Embedded Handles

Wow. I'm a huge Cuisinart fan but this one surprised me, in a good way! I expected this to be a good cutting board, but for the price I didn't expect a great cutting board. It looks good, is extremely resistant to moisture, and has good weight and a solid feel. This was a purchase I'm happy I made.

It was very durable, and didn't slide or move around like our previous cutting boards. Smooth cuts, the grips on the side made it portable to easily move around different areas of our kitchen. It was very durable too, and wasn't damaged after using. It was much easier to clean in comparison to their cutting boards as well! I also can't rave enough about how beautiful it was!!

It's a very substantial surface for chopping but it's also pretty, so I know I will also use it for serving in the future. I found the "moat" (ha! The grooves for catching juice ... what are those called?) really helpful when chopping fruit for a panzanella salad just yesterday. It feels really high quality and the large size makes it useful for a full meal because I can use different sides for different prep. I wish the handles were a little deeper for easier gripping but that's a small quibble. Great product!

The colors of the wood grain are contrasting and unique, and I love the design of the board. With embedded grip handles, it is easy to move around -- good thing considering it is a little hefty. With reversible sides, this doubles as a beautiful display board. This high quality cutting board has a deep grooved well all the way around to catch juices and crumbs as you cut -- very helpful for cleanup. After use, I quickly noticed visible knife cuts but I did expect that considering how dark the wood is. I have loved using this board because it is sturdy and stays put while in use and it is a great addition to my wooden board collection.
