This is my favorite pan. Pan is nicely built. I cook everything in it. Fish, eggs, pancakes, Steaks and burgers. There are methods you have to use when cooking with stainless steel to get good results. Clean up is easy to I am very happy with this pan
Really like the skillet. It's very nice and easy to clean. It disperses heat well and I'd recommend.
Solid build, well packaged, warranty and instructions. Thank you!!
I've had a smaller Cuisinart pan like this for years, and when the most recent "non-stick" cheapie wore out its coating, I decided to try a bigger Cuisinart. Great decision, since our new kitchen will have an induction cooktop. This little guy will work beautifully, where as the cheapie non-stick? Not so much!
I needed a Skillet ,a Good Skillet for cooking things like scrambling eggs , or Browning a Good Steak .. So I went shopping and come across this Cuisinart Skillet, figured what the heck, give it a try ,After my First Use I knew it was the Best skillet I had ever used, I am beyond Happy with the Purchase . Wish it was just a little less costly , BUT it will last longer than me ,so money well spent
I like cooking on my stainless steel and have learned how to use it pretty well. I purchased this 8" skillet and use it virtually every morning to cook my eggs, normally over easy. I seasoned the skillet as soon as it arrived, and I preheat for about 3 minutes and add a pat of butter prior to each use and with heat setting of 5, never to exceed 7. The eggs slide around in the pan as if they were on non-stick teflon and I've never had anything stick to the bottom.
I am enjoying the cookware and relieved of the issue using non stick cookware that could be harmful after long periods of use. Following directions to use lower heat and seems to be performing well. Easy to clean up after soaking. would be nice gift for wedding or young people who tend to buy cheap like I did. Start a good habit.
very robust yet nicely designed pan, though i wish it came with a lid. still, highly recommend
Very nice looking and sturdy pan that heats food very well. Cleans up well after letting it sit with hot water and dish soap. Have tried it a dozen times with different foods. Have read the manual, called customer support, watched a dozen youtube videos. Methods recommended: heat pan up with nothing in it until a drop of water beads up or put your palm over pan and wait until it feels hot on your palm. Then put in your oil and try to cover the entire bottom surface. Then put food in and make sure you cook on low to medium. Ideally, cook foods that are at room temp. Every single time I have tried to cook anything, eggs, pancakes, salmon, hamburger it sticks horribly. Honestly it is very hard to believe the positive reviews. Been cooking over 50 years. I bought this SS pan after reading how nonstick surfaces can leech poison in your food if the surface is scratched or compromised. Well, I guess it's back to nonstick surfaces.
Food gets burned on this skillet, my house is smelling burnt too, thought need to add some extra oil to make stir fried, but not, it's turned whole thing black as in the picture .
