This purchase was a toss up between an All Clad and this pan. After reading the reviews and weighing the pros and cons plus the price point I pulled the trigger on this one. Very happy with purchase. The pan heats up fast, had the heat and recovers fast once you put in, say 5 pieces of chicken. Clean up is easy and while not non stick (didn't want one) a pan at proper temp plus a tiny bit of oil and it's basically non stick. I kinda wish I had bought this pan years ago as it looks like it will out last me and it cooks very well.
I bought this for myself for Christmas, and couldn't be happier. I had used SS before, but didn't like it because everything stuck! I found out it's not the SS, but the QUALITY of the pan! These clean up very easily even with stuck on/burnt on food. Just add some water to the pan, turn the flame on, and it will loosen whatever is there!
Great pan. Got as a replacement from Cuisinart for an older one that started to round on the bottom. It didn't sit fully or flat on my glass stovetop. The only complaint is that it didn't come with a cover. Other than that it's a good pan and sits flat on stovetop.
This skillet was purchased to go with a complete set we bought. We couldn't be more pleased with it and the entire set easy clean up looks great but you will still need a non stick pan for certain things such as frying proteins but great for everything else
I've long used and loved Cuisinart's French Classic 12” stainless steel skillet but had been wanting a nonstick version. Most nonstick skillets are 10” or smaller and it took a bit of time to find this one. I really like the helper handle as it makes this large pan easier to handle. It heats well and evenly and is easy to clean. I like the lifetime warranty but if my years of experience with the Classic French pans is any predictor I don't think I'll have any need to submit a warranty claim! I was able to get a good price over the holidays and I'm very happy with it.
I bought this to replace my old pan that over time had buckled. I had a large crowd over for holiday and pulled out the pan and it was perfect. I was able to cook up my vegetables all in one pan. The heat was even and clean up a breeze. Great investment!
The Cuisinart 12" skillet was the perfect addition to the 12-piece set I purchased simultaneously. I have used several pieces and found that they cook much better than the Calphalion I used. I am so sorry that I never bought this set many years ago. The extra handle or grip is excellent for lifting or taking it out of the oven.
I have a set of Cuisinart stainless steel pans. They cook and clean well, I'm very pleased with them. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for high quality, easy care set of pans. The 12” skillet cooks and cleans amazingly. Very glad I added it to my set.
I have been cooking with this pan for a month or so now and truly love cooking with it. the 12" is perfect for cooking for 2 people, i have been using a 14 inch pan and got tired of having to work with such a heavy pan on daily basis. It is a wonderful addition to our kitchen
This pan is a perfect addition to my 12-piece set. I have used it many times and love the fact that the heat is evenly distributed across the bottom. I have had NO problems with burning or sticking food and no spots or discoloration. Because it is so effective at heat distribution, I never need to cook above "5" (on a dial from 1 to 9). I can boil water at "7". However, I do not use my stainless to cook eggs because I know eggs stick in everything except coated cookware. I have a coated pan for eggs. The long handle stays cool while cooking on the stove top but of course common sense dictates caution when using in the oven. As an experienced cook, I absolutely love my Cuisinart! I can't find a single negative thing to say!
