I love making stuffed burgers with cheese and bacon and this cast iron helps me create the perfect round patty with the right size of hole to put the stuffing in. Works well.

It presses burgers up to half a pound together to give them the best shape and prevents loss of flavor. If you've ever made burgers without pressing them, you would know how the juices run out and tend to leave them dry and flavorless. This burger press makes sure that the natural juices are preserved inside. A must have at your next backyard grill or picnic. Every burger eating household kitchen should absolutely have one of this burger press!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Cuisinart's Press and Stuff Cast Iron Burger Press and though I have never used something like this, I had fun with it. The press is cast iron and allows you to make 1/2lbs. burgers. Press the hamburger into press, and it will put a indent in the middle of patty, which allows the juices and such stay longer in the meat, during the process of cooking, to give you a juicy and more flavourful hamburger. You can also put your favorite topping right on the indent, so no bread or bun needed for a more healthy choice. It a quality made product, easy to use, and I have to admit my hamburgers were super, and the whole family loved them. Perfect burgers!

Very well made, great price, seeler got it to me fast. If you like thick stuffed burgers, this thing is super. HALF POIND patty then put your stuffing in and cook. Oh man!!!!!

Stuffing a burger rather than pressing it flat is a different way of enjoying a favorite food. The press idents the center of the meat allowing you to fill with any type of topping. It perfectly shapes the burger and creates heat to help cook the meat faster. Though this may not be the most common tool to use in your kitchen, it definitely is another option for making a great meal.
