Cuisinart Snow Cone Machine, Red

Our new candy apple red snow cone maker is making the head of the household very happy. In the past Riley was offered a dish of ice cubes at happy hour that had been wrapped in a tea towel and smashed with a meat tenderizing hammer resulting in an inconsistent array of ice chunks. As anyone in the middle of middle age knows, crunching on ice can lead to expensive dental work. Now she can enjoy a dish of perfectly ground ice. The Dad and MommaBerry also seem to enjoy the "snow" after adding a bit of their adult beverages. This is our third Cuisinart appliance and it is as well made and well engineered and attractive as the microwave oven and the coffee maker. Thank you for manufacturing appliances that offer good quality for the cost.

Very easy to use. Pull out shaved ice drawer makes all ice accessible. Can use regular ice cubes, I didn't want to have to use molds like in other brand models…that limits you on making lots of snow cones. This was perfect and what I was looking for. Easy to clean…highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Started looking for a Snow Cone Maker a few weeks ago, but this one being a Cuisinart was the winner. As soon as it was at my door the kids had to open it, fortunately the syrups showed up the same day. ...we ran out of ice from the freezer that evening. After stocking up with ice, and adding a few more flavors. My daughter's 10th birthday party (outside) was a hit ...a line formed after the first one was made. Easy and safe for these kids to make on their own. Clean up was quick with a few paper towels. And of course snowballs were made when unsupervise for a few minutes.

It shaves the ice just as well as any commercially purchased snow cone and the kids love being able to pick and choose their size of cone and flavors. We look forward to using it year round when the kids come to visit.

The snow cone making machine was a big hit during our Summer time event, it was hot outside and we had a line of guest's waiting for a homemade snow cone. I would recommend this machine to everyone.

This snow cone maker is terrific. This works well and also makes great slushies with everything from Kool aide to soft drinks. I received mine as a Christmas gift and it was great to use for daiquiris. I would buy another one without hesitation. It hasn't over heated with our extensive use and is super easy to clean. Now that I have a great ice station, I plan to get the Cuisinart coffee maker.

I LOVE my snow cone maker. It makes all my drinks so much better. It is incredibly easy to use, not too heavy, and very reliable!

Would order again if need be and ice was very finely chopped snow cones were of professional quality

With these hot North Carolina days, I couldn't wait to use it. It works as expected for an ice crusher. The ice is very fine, almost like snow. I guess that is why it is called a "snow"cone maker. Emphasis on snow. I made me a slushie.

For the price even though I got it at a discount, I feel the quality of the handle being plastic instead of metal was a big disappointment especially for the brand name. Felt flimsy.
