Cuisinart Snow Cone Maker

Our new candy apple red snow cone maker is making the head of the household very happy. In the past Riley was offered a dish of ice cubes at happy hour that had been wrapped in a tea towel and smashed with a meat tenderizing hammer resulting in an inconsistent array of ice chunks. As anyone in the middle of middle age knows, crunching on ice can lead to expensive dental work. Now she can enjoy a dish of perfectly ground ice. The Dad and MommaBerry also seem to enjoy the "snow" after adding a bit of their adult beverages. This is our third Cuisinart appliance and it is as well made and well engineered and attractive as the microwave oven and the coffee maker. Thank you for manufacturing appliances that offer good quality for the cost.

Very nice machine and I use it several times a day. Found it easier to put the chopped ice in a cup and eat with a spoon. I bought syrup, but also like Crystal light too. Good looking on the counter, chops up ice very well. It also has several safety switches so you can't get cut.

This ice shaver looks pretty in red. Brings out the "happy" in any celebration or get together. The machine is easy to operate. When you feed the ice, a gentle push will activate the machine. It has a safety feature that when you open the ice feeder, machine automatically stops even when switch is turned on. It has a big shaved ice reservoir so you don't have to frequently open and empty it. It's a time saver. There are also 4 cone cup holders on both sides. Pretty handy. Ice scoop is round shaped to give the treat top a nice dome shape. It produces a nice, fine shaved ice, perfect for snow cone or Halo-halo snack! Noise can get as loud as you would expect solid ice to bang against plastic container. Price is affordable and reasonable. Hope this machine lasts.

I purchased this one because of the ice catch holds more. This make hard crush ice, my other machine make powder snow. Just didn't have way to shave alot at one time. Its still

Easy to use… my kids 14 and 11 are able to make their own snow cones without help. It is loud and I was expecting a heavier quality material, but it's fine and gets the job done.

Love it... Nice size and very well made. Its a hit at every party. Makes the perfect snow cone. Buy it you will be happy you did!

Is perfect easy to make snow cones and the more important thing my son love it !!

For the price, I am disappointed in the quality of the Cuisinart Snow Cone maker. The only metal part is the blade/cutter/ice shaver. The part that you push the ice down with is also 'flimsy'. The ice holder had a crack in it when I opened it up, but I figured it would be a hassle to return it. It would probably be more adequately priced at less than half of what it's being sold for. If this lasts all summer, I'll be surprised. My next purchase will be a more sturdy, substantial machine.

It crushes the ice but it does not give shaved ice its good for a kids party but it does not make ice finely shaved it literally just cuts it smaller

Item arrived after the event, and when I tried reaching out to them to tell them that I did not get in in time as.they had said it would be here in time. I never got a response back from them.. I was not happy with this order.. no good customer service !
