Cuisinart Specialty Appliances Countertop Single Burner

Very good product at a good price. My main concern is how badly the box was damaged by FedEx. The damage was not visible in the picture they took of the delivery. They placed the box with the damaged side down and not visible.

I don't know if it's stone or metal but it keeps the heat. not like these other cheap ones that turn off and turn on, when they get too hot. like this one still does turn off %26 on but it retains the majority of its heat. I wouldn't even say it drops 10° when it turns off for a second. Great to have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent for a studio kitchen with no countertop range. I wish I had bought the double burner though. This one only boils liquid if it is in a pan that is the size of the burner. Liquid doesn't boil in smaller pans with this large single burner. But on the whole, I'm very please with the purchase!

In the process of remodeling my kitchen but in no hurry to complete it and picked this up in lieu of using a regular drop in cook top. This thing is a real work horse! The only think I don't use it for is for deep frying and stir fries because I have an induction burner I use for those to keep the kitchen cooler in the summer.

The temperature dial matches your cooking needs It has been a perfect addition to the kitchen. It works as expected of a Cuisinart products. Love it!

1 Eye went out on my stove and was to costly to have replaced so bought one of these and so glad i did. This heats up much faster and stays constant better than my stove . I would buy again in a heart beat love this thing

I had been looking for a good counter cooktop and this one works amazing compared to others. I've had gets hot really fast and cooks things really quick. I'm glad I bought it.

I just received my order and have not set it up yet but I have respect for Cuisinart products and that Walmart stands behind their merchandise if, per chance, anything is not right when I do first use the product.

My quest for a simple, tabletop burner for cooking Shabu Shabu was successful. The one-dial temperature control works well and the non-coil burner heats evenly (and cleans easily!). Its simple design is great for tabletop use-not clunky or huge and fits a 28cm Shabu pot perfectly.
