Cuisinel Pot and Pan Lid Tempered Glass Replacement Cover for Frying Pan Cast Iron 12”

It is tempered glass and recently broke one lid and it shattered into about a thousand pieces and if it had been glass, I would have been seriously injured. So would recommend this lid for use as much safer than a glass lid.

Exactly what I needed. Fits several skillets. I like the glass so I can keep an eye on the food.

This is the most useful pot/skillet/pan lid I have owned. The 12 inch diameter fits our fry pan, cast iron, and our large pots. The handle is very well made and easy to navigate even with arthritis. My mother can lift it easily. The high-quality extends to the heavy-duty feel of the glass. It feels very well made. I have used it almost daily since I got it and highly recommend. Clean up is easy, dishwasher or hand wash -- I've done both -- and it works very well to keep heat in your food.

I have purchased lots of replacement pan lids that are light and cheap that don't last long. I tried the Cuisinel Pot and Pan Lid with Tempered Glass and noticed a big difference in quality. This is safe to use inside my oven and all around this is quite sturdy. This fits my largest skilet pan too. I feel sure that this will last and last.

Very nice replacement Pan Lid. This 12 inch Cuisinel Pot and Pan Lid is SUCH nice quality! I received it in a very sturdy box, wrapped carefully, and the second I pulled it out of the box you can just feel the quality of this product. This Cuisinel Pot and Pan Lid is made of Tempered glass and has a nice circular handle which is nice for storage instead of the bulky handles my other lids have. I tried it out on my 12 inch skillets and it is a seamless perfect fit. I couldn't be happier with it. I like the fact that the handle is an easy-grip silicone handle because some of my other handles get very hot and I have to use a pot holder to lift the lid. Also the handle has a flat top so you can lay it upside down and it will not drip from the moisture. Another nice feature with this lid is you can use it for cooking on the stove as well as baking. Say goodbye to multiple lids for every skillet, this one can serve the needs for all your 12 in pans which helps in freeing up space when storing. I am overall very happy with this universal 12 inch Cuisinel Pot and Pan Lid. Would recommend.

I was absolutely happy and excited to get this pot and pan lid. It is made with somewhat thick tempered (or toughened) glass for a cast iron skillet. I love that you can see the progression of the cooking food as well as the added safety and strength of the tempered glass. It features a metal ring around the glass that sits on the skillet. I took it straight out of the box, washed it, and used it. I had been needing a lid for my pan for a while now. This lid seems to be really well made. It's not very heavy but it isnt made with thin cheap glass. It feels like it is a very sturdy lid. I LOVE the black silicone handle and the fact that it can withstand 350 degree temperature in the oven! I can do so much more with my cast iron skillet now. It will keep the oils from splattering in my oven. Be careful as the glass will obviously be hot when it comes out of the oven. The only thing I don't like about this lid is that there is no hole for the steam to escape. I have read online that a vacuum can result and if the hand jerks from this it can scald you. I struggled whether to give this lid a three or four star because of the missing hole. I decided to give it four stars because I didn't have any problems with it this time around. I don't know if next time when I have a lot more wet ingredients if it will cause a problem or not?

This lid fits one of the pans I have already and it is wonderful. It is very well made, fits the pan just right and does the job it was meant to do. The only thing I don't like about it is the fact that it has no vent hole on the top. I would like it better if it had that, but it is what it is. Otherwise it is a very nice lid for a pan if you don't have one.
