The onn/off is a little cheap feeling so I'm not sure how long it's going to last. I use it to start firewood and this thing is a flame thrower even on the lowest setting. It fits in the palm of your hand and ergonomically it is well designed. You can also lock the flame to keep it going which is a plus. For the clearance price I got it for it seems to be a good deal.
It's exactly what I was looking for. I've used it to put a sear on chicken skewers and also to caramelize- very simple and works perfectly
