Culligan HF-360B Whole Home Standard 3/4" Water Filtration System

I have used this item in the past and although I had to purchase a new one recently, the old one lasted almost 5 years. The product works well for reducing sediment %26 filtering the water to reduce rust. I find less stains in my household sinks and drains and my water tastes better. The filters need to be replaced every 3 months but the System %26 filters are cost effective!

I got two of these for a whole house application. They are installed together in series; one with a 5 micron filter and the other has a 1 micron filter. The first one gets the big stuff before it gets to the second one, extending the life of the more expensive 1 micron filter. The clear part of the housing allows you to monitor the filter condition so you can replace them when they need it. Another other nice feature allows you to shut off the water right there without the water draining out of the system. That keeps air out of the pipes as well. There are less expensive filters without these features. You could also pay more if you wanted but this is the best in my book.

Change out the filters every three months for the well water we have and it works great. Replacing 26 year old units that were deteriorating.

So far, we love this. I like that it's clear and you can see the inside filter. We installed it in the Laundry area by the water softener. It works well and was easy to install. So far, we are very pleased with it!

Sorry but it was not hard because I am replacing my original water filter with the same model Culligan filter that I have had for 15 years. Very happy with that one.

This is a great product was easy to set up and has proved to be effective!

I have not used this for drinking water. I have a bad sediment problem at one of my customer's locations. This filter is used to remove that, before it reaches my equipment. It does a good job at that. Con: The only way I have been able to get the connection threads not to leak using the water-hose type connectors, is to permanently seal it. Pipe tape doesn't seem to work.

i like tha fact that the aoftner is well made and has 2 0 ring gaskets instead of 1 like most others do. the dislike is it doesn't come with a mounting bracket (it is optional). also, their bracket mounts differently into. the filter.
