[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Review: Pack Your Patience (But the Water is Worth It!)
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The water quality from the Culligan MaxClear is exceptional—crisp, clean, and completely free of any "tap" taste. Knowing it's certified to handle PFAS and lead is a huge plus for my household. The stainless steel design is also much more attractive than a plastic pitcher.
However, be aware of the size and setup. It is quite bulky on the countertop, and the height makes it too tall to fit under my cabinets, so I have to keep it out in the open. The instructions require flushing three full reservoirs before the water is drinkable. Since it filters drop-by-drop, it took nearly two days just to finish the priming process. Additionally, the replacement filters are a bit pricey, so that is something to factor into the long-term cost.
Pro Tip: Fill it at night so it's ready by morning. The taste is worth the wait, but it requires a bit of patience, a dedicated spot on your counter, and a small investment in upkeep!
