My son loves to take these. He calls them his purple pill. He is growing and going through various stages of eating. This is, of course, causing problems with his digestive system. My daughter who is 9 did not like the taste and only tolerated the sample. She would have preferred a gummy version. She does not like chewing pills. My sons were disappointed when we ran out. I had three of my kiddo's ranging in age from two 15's to one 9 year old. I am pretty lucky that they aren't very picky and they'll try anything at least once. So the two older ones ( boy / girl ) did not like the taste. The boy has occasional belly problems but he said it was worth not taking these Chewables on a daily basis because of the chalky taste and gritty texture. My girl just said uck, no, nope so I can't really give her point of view. The youngest boy tried it, made a screwy face, gave me a half thumbs up with a shoulder shrug. He verbally said it was okay but it had a weird taste and the texture was different. I did give the Chewable to him for a few weeks and he said that it was easier to poo and less belly aches.
