I love this curtain rod and the man who installed it from Angi's list was very professional, courteous and kind. He also worked as a Carpenter so the curtain rod was installed very precisely. It was a very good experience and I would definitely recommend someone from Angi's list to install or build youritems. I've had a few items completed by them and they've all been done correctly and professionally.
I didnt want to install a 5'x3' mirror. He did it quickly and how i wanted it , and he took all the trash with him. Left all extra hardware just in case. No problems.
Don't use Angi's! An installer from there came to the house with no notification - and the rod arrived after he did! Apparently done in that unprofessional way to be able to say he came and the homeowner wasn't there - I spoke to him (from automated doorbell) and told him I would call when I was back and set an appointment. It was set for 10:00 today; he didn't show yet at 10:40, so my husband called him. The repairman said”I don't have to come and hang your rod!” and didn't. Now I have to call Walmart and explain the problem with Angi's man and ask for a refund of the install price.
I was completely caught off guard seeing I had a charge for a service I do not need. And it had been scheduled while I was away from home. I never would have scheduled something I know how to do during a time I am on vacation. Doesn't make sense. I have been promised a refund. Hoping it Comes
Poor communication with Angie and getting this service done. I had canceled because the service was scheduled prior to the merchandise delivery date. I was told to reschedule once I received merchandise however, I was not able to reschedule. Very sloppy customer service and support!!!
I need a refund for this because the installer showed me that my mirror was damaged. There is a 1 inch chip in the mirror that was discovered when it was unboxed. No work was performed.
This review is ONLY about the shelving unit itself. Not the individual(s) from ANGI's who were supposed to install the shelf. The shelf itself is very sturdy and holds a lot of weight. We especially like that we can lower it to add/take away stored items. The hand crank is exactly what we needed. Now we paid extra to have it installed. Walmart works with ANGI to hire someone to install it. We gave specific instructions that installing the shelf required two (2) installers and one, tall ladder as our garage ceiling is tall. Our communication was NOT relayed correctly and because of the lack of communication, we hired a non-ANGI work crew to install it. I do NOT recommend purchasing for Walmart/Angi to install the shelf but I DO recommend buying the shelving unit.
Overhead storage item was cancelled within 24 hours of ordering but the item was still delivered (a month later) and the installation service charge was never refunded. There was no contact information to directly cancel the installation service. Only contact was a message from the installer a day before arriving. Installer did not bring a ladder nor any of the tools that would be needed to properly install a ceiling storage system. Also, the installer was uninsured. Image what would happen if he fell off the ladder (if he had brought one). The installer came from Angi (formerly Angie's List). The only issue with this order falls on Angi not Walmart or the item. Do not use Walmart.com installation services. Find a local, insured handy person to do the work.
I ordered a total of 3 shelves and only 1 was delivered. After that, the order was cancelled not by myself and I got a two emails indicating it was cancelled on the remaining two. I got online to customer service and indicated the 1 needed to be picked up and returned, for It's too heavy for my husband to take in the store. The gal told me I would get the info by email for the returning process for the 1, which I'm still waiting for. On top of that, once I placed the original order, I got a confirmation from ‘Angi's List/Walmart' indicating my order has been placed. This was ordered through Walmart, not Angi's List. This order has nothing to do with Angi's List at all. Then, after the one was delivered, I got an email from Angi's List indicating they're gonna be sending somebody over for installation. I informed them I never signed up for that, nor do I want that for my husband would put anything together. Low and behold, I thought it was spam, but it was not, and they showed up at my door, indicating they were here to install the shelving unit. I explain to them I never ordered the installation process, nor did I speak with anybody from Angi's List to order the installation. And that I also chatted online with customer service and explained that the one of three shelves that I ordered won't work and i wouldn't be keeping, and the 1 shelving unit needs to be picked up.. Still waiting for information on how it will be returned - by what company will pick it up and what date. I shouldn't have to pay for postage to ship the retuned item too, since they cancelled the other two items and I didn't get my complete order.
for the price the guy who put it up did horrible i asked if it comes with the hanging of curtains too and he was like yeah for a charge so i gave him 30 more dollars so $100 dollars to hang like 6 feet of it and a few days later it was already falling down
