I typically don't buy wide unless it's heels, ballet flats or sandals because my feet are a little more fat than wide. These were so cute and classy, so I gave it a try and ordered a 1/2 size up. They didn't do me justice. Super uncomfortable and I knew after walking around that they couldn't be broken in. Just a no sadly. Also, not a true wide and straps were really tight. I had to return them. Perfect if you have narrow skinny feet
