The product works well. I had bought a fan that did not come with a power cord. With the interchangeable connection pieces, this allows me to use it more than just with the fan. Also, with being able to select the amperage of whatever I'm plugging in and chores that I don't burn anything up.
Very versitile charger with selectable and wide DC voltage output. It has multiple interchangable male plug heads. The heads can be installed to provide positive or negstive polarity. The unit can replace many single use chargers. it would be nice it was furnished with a storage bag for the male plug heads - however all pieces can be stored in a user supplied zip lock bag. Better instructions would be helpful.
Hello, I like the online ordering While I know this is not about the in-store experience, I just want to say the online ordering is way better than in store experience. All Philadelphia Walmart stores need to do wayyyyyy better. I mean waaaaaay better. Can I say the in-store experience is atrocious - Philadelphia all stores Matter of fact send me a survey about the Philadelphia in store experience, I dear you
I gave it three stars and I'm going to tell you why. First know that I'm a professional DJ and I understand about universal adapters and cords and the like. Next, there were three problems I noticed with this unit. Some people may not care, but it annoyed me. First two of the plugs fit perfectly. Into my unit, so which one was the correct one there was one that fit a little bit more snuggly so I went that. Maybe a little too strongly because when I try to pull it out, the piece got stuck in the adapter piece. That should not happen.. but a little special glue write it between and a little electrical tape and that won't come out again. But when you're paying for a unit, you shouldn't have to do that. Next, it comes with a USB port. 2.0 now to me it doesn't make a difference if it's 1.0 or 3.0 as long as it works, this thing did nothing let me repeat that it's just a port there it might as well be a drilled hole it does absolutely nothing I plugged my phone into it. I plugged other things into it. It does nothing. Maybe they forgot to attach it on the inside. I don't know, but it's worth worthless. And the third problem I have with it is that while the court at the end could come off and on the court attached to the unit is a permanently attached cord, which I can't stand as a DJ were used to having chords that can come out and go back so if it ever breaks, you can replace it very easily if this court breaks, you're kind of screwed.. and maybe be forced to buy a whole other unit. However, that said once I did get it working it did have the proper voltage it did work and it worked well. So and I also had it delivered express the same day because I'm a DJ and I had to use the unit I needed it for right away. So I ended up paying twice the price. Is it worth twice the price?? absolutely not is it worth the original price I would say yes. If you're just buying it as a universal adapter and nothing else I never plan on touching it or moving it or anything else you're probably gonna do great with it. I have to be moving around and taking it out and putting it back in so hopefully I won't have any problems I guess in time we'll see but that's my honest review.
i've had this product for a day and it's not very reliable it worked for awhile and after a few hours it no longer worked. The first time it stopped working was about 30 minutes of use and it stopped i unplugged it for awhile and it worked for a few hours and now it's not working anymore.
When I opened the I knew right away that this item was a return. reasons why I believe that is. 1 the box seal/tape was gone. %232 the power cord wasn't factory folded and tied. Just shoved back in the box all tangled. %233 no instructions paper provided. %234 when I would carefully jiggle the power supply control ,The power to (my) item I bought it for would short/cut out.
I just went to set up our projector with this set and the cord box light goes out when i plug it in. I messed around with it for 20 min until the light finally stayed on and the projector lit up for a second and then the lights went out. im really hoping this cable didn't damage our projector for future use, and now i have to go buy another cable to try again. im so disappointed!
Garbage. As another reviewer noted, the 5v setting doesn't work on mine either which is what I bought it for. All of the other settings have the proper voltage, setting it to 5v is like an OFF switch. There are plenty of these devices on the market, they're not new technology or anything. Avoid this brand. It seems the 5v issue has been around for a while, but they have done nothing about it. They're just hoping you need it for other voltages and won't notice. This will be returned ASAP.
Had the correct voltage, tip size, polarity, etc and didn't charge my daughter's kid trax atv. You're better off getting a replacement charger rather than this item. I got the replacement charger (6v, same size and polarity that I set this one to) and it worked great! Don't waste your time with this item.
I placed a delivery order, the site said the item was available, and the shopper said the item was not available. The site offered to have the item to me the next day so I placed the order. Tomorrow is day 3 and the item has still not moved. Not happy at all because I needed the item two days ago. Tried to cancel the order but there is no option to cancel. Ridiculous!
