Cycle Kids 20-inch Child Bicycle, Light Blue

I bought two Cycle Kids bikes in February of this year (2025): 20" (blue) %26 a 24" (green) for my 2 boys (ages 8 %26 13) from Walmart (reg price $549, bought both on sale for $148 each). Debated having Walmart assemble them but gave up when I saw the assembly price. Good thing cause they were extremely easy to assemble myself (in May of this year), about 10 min per bike %26 I'm no mechanic. All needed tools are also included with each bike in the box. The bikes are partially assembled except for the front tire, pedals, seat %26 handlebars. The bikes are extremely light %26 easy to ride. This is my 8 year olds first bike without training wheels %26 the fact that the bike is so light is definitely helping him to learn how to ride solo. After the 2nd day of riding he only needs help starting the bike but can ride for more then 5 minutes at a time up %26 down hills. You can imagine that he fell a few times with this new bike but short of a few scratches, the bike is holding up remarkably well. The gear shift is very smooth %26 easy to change between different gears. I'm actually looking to see if I can buy another 24" ahead of time %26 save it for when my youngest son is older %26 needs a bigger bike. So far I haven't seen the 24" available at Walmart anymore. Hope they bring them back %26 put them on sale again. Highly recommend this brand.

Quick lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the quality and craftsmanship of the bike and it's easy assembly! They are great, high quality bikes for the first or next real bike for your kids. The breaks on the front and back as well as the adjustable seat make these a fan favorite!

No opinion on the bike yet, the review is for Walmart and Angi's list. Paid for assembly, they sent someone (without coordinating) the day after the bike arrived - would have been great, but, middle of the day middle of the work week? Rescheduled, no problem. It's the middle of winter in the Midwest, woman arrives in crocs, no jacket saying, I thought I'd be assembling the bicycle inside the house? Because we ride bicycles inside the house? (Also 5 flights of stairs no elevator). She clearly had no idea what she was doing, didn't bring a tire pump, didn't know which way to put the handle bars, didn't ensure the brakes were properly adjusted, didn't check to make sure the derailleur was adjusted … in short, put on the quick release wheel (took 15-29 minutes) reversed the stem to the correct position (after I identified that she had it backwards), put on the peddles - all things I would have been happy to do myself - but didn't do the two things that actually require some degree of bicycle understanding. Waste of 2 hours of my day. Next call is to Angi's list.
