This was very easy to set up and place in the house in the area that I saw little mickey! My daughter left the back door open and it ran in from the field behind our house. Within 3 days, I caught him and discarded the trap with ease! I would recommend for anyone that has seen mouse activity in the house.
I caught a mouse in leas thn 4 hours after setting out several if these. I caught two more within 48 hrs. Very effective and never had to see any dead mice.
We bought many of these when we were living in an old farmhouse. We didn't want it to hurt our cat and/or dog and we had found too many mice being slowly tortured with the old-fashioned traps. These worked amazing every time. Yes, costly, but it honestly was worth it and saved us a trip to the vet for the cat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] not sure if I like this or not. had it one week, and no mice, but maybe that means, I have no mice. easy to set, but hard to see if it has caught anything or not. its better than seeing a dead mouse with its head caught in a trap, anyway....
I bought 3 packages of 2 traps each. 4 fell apart and I returned the last 2. The paper cover over the spring for some reason disintegrates and the spring pops out. You can't fix it once that happens. Mainly because you can't find the spring. Product is of poor quality. The company could fix the problem by putting a proper cover to hold in the spring. It seems on 2 of them the mouse tried to eat through the cover over the spring. I suspect that maybe its because the bait smell might be coming out there. I also noticed the stress of the spring broke the support column in the middle. So I can't recommend these.
Wasted money on this purchase. There is a malfunction in the spring setting not allowing the trap to be set. At $4.62 each it is already pricey and then to be defective is really frustrating. Have read similar ratings from other customers.
Never buying another one.
