This is the best to keep mice/rats out of your home. I always put some out before the first cold snap when they tend to try and come inside. We never have problems with mice/rats when we use D-con. We live in the country next to woods/fields and I have tried other products and nothing works as good as this.
When I heard a rat chewing on the inaccessible wiring under my park model home's floor I decided to act with 5 rat traps and a pack of this bait and some peppermint oil. One of the two bait trays was enough to distribute around all access points. Of the 5 traps I set only one had sprung with the PB bait completely gone. Nothing caught or seen laying in the yard. I can't be sure this bait got the rat but ever since spreading the bait I have heard no gnawing after hearing it 5 nights in a row. It was waking me up and hard on the nerves so I'm considering this a success without absolute proof. Considering how much damage a rat can do, trying this bait along with traps and repellent is surely worth the small investment.
this were easy to use however make a huge mess due to the fact that the mice pick them up and carry them and shred them all over leaving dust and residue that was carried up off the floor. so in my opinion if you're going to use these inside I wouldn't recommend
honestly it works as it says on the box. you just peel off the cover and place it in a area the rat likes to hang out, and it'll eat the pellets. it really just depends on how smart the rat is or how hungry it gets, but thats not the problem of D-Con. clean up is easy too, once the little tray is empty use a paper towel to pick it up and throw it in the trash. i also recommend using a paper towel to set the tray so you dont get any poison residue on your hands. also make sure to wash your hands when handling it. it doesnt matter if you use a paper towel or not, its better to be safe than sorry.
This repellent really works. I had to get it and if the roads eat it, they die and they always try to come in and find a way in and I'm not having it so this was perfect. It works.
Never received package I support to show a number. I never got a chance to show a number cause I never seen the driver. The Walmart computer was down at the time. I tried to cancel the order. The computer didn't come up till later on at night so I never received that order if I had to sign for the order, I never signed for that order.
I got this dcon rat bait for rats coming from a barn. Have never used this before, now I know why. They will not eat this stuff, just walk right on by and go about their day. This bait is a waste of money and time ordering it. I bought 2 boxes thats 4 trays throwing my money away on this. If you need rat bait dont buy this, it's no good.
This is called a Generation 1 chemical because mice and rats have developed an immunity to it and after eating 5 pounds they brought their friends to eat more. They love it and it has no killing effect. Bromethalin is one the products recommnded by the EPA
I don't think these work. I set them out when I brought him home and they are both still intact with nothing seemingly taken out of it and I'm still seeing mice
I put a tray under my kitchen sink. I can hear something getting the pellets. It eats a little every night. After feeding it 2 trays I'm thinking about giving it a name. I might as well. I'm feeding the dang thing. DOESN'T WORK
