D DRIFT ALL THINGS WATER 500 Lumen AA Battery LED Spotlight with Bumpers, IPX7 Waterproof, Floating, Lightweight

Out of the box this appears to be a exactly what I was looking for. Wanted a small hand held spotlight to keep on my boat “just in case”. Didn't want a rechargeable, since figured when I did need it, it could be dead. With this I keep an extra set of batteries on board that can easily be switched out if needed.

Great for a night out on the Boat. It has the power to light up channel markers from a safe distance. Overall, I would recommend this product.

What a nice light for marine for sailor duties or just to use at night on the boat. The product works perfectly with 4 AA batteries ( also included ), and it seems to does not consume a lot of energy due to the LED technology of the light. The product is quite affordable, and it is totally resistant to wet ( also floatable and waterproof ). I totally recommend it.

We love this spotlight! First and foremost, it runs on 4 AA batteries (that are included) as opposed to having to charge with a USB cord for an extended amount of time. The batteries are mounted inside a protective plastic box inside the light. The box can only be installed in the right direction then the waterproof light seals the battery case. There are 3 settings. High, Low, and flashing. Floats with a handheld length lanyard. Made in China

First, I am self-admittedly a bit of a flashlight snob. For some reason, even though I have several, when I see a nice one I usually end up getting it. I have a fear of needing one when we lose power, and not having one or not being able to find it. My husband is a diver and we live in north Arkansas, near the beautiful Norfolk and Bull Shoals lakes. The guys are always as safe as they can be when out on the lake, but things just happen sometimes. Once, an unexpected, heavy storm blew up in the middle of summer and they were too far away from the dock to get the boat out of the lake in time. They ended up sheltering on an island. Most boating people do not ever want to be caught out in the middle of the lake in a storm, especially when lightening is involved. So, of course, the well prepared group of divers had not one light source among them. When they finally came off the lake they all swore they would never be caught in a dark storm on an island they did not know without a flashlight of some kind ever again. That was a few years ago and we since then we have looked at all kinds of lights to have on the boat. This one, immediately caught my eye. I love that it floats, as things get dropped overboard all the time. And even with experienced divers on board, they are not as easy to find as you think. This light has a bit of weight too, (weighed 1.2 lbs with batteries installed). The casing is made of plastic and some texturized rubber. I like the rubber too, because things get dropped (and broken) in the dive boat all the time. The rubber should protect this light much more than an all hard plastic case would. There is one button for operation, on the back of the light, not in the grip so it is very unlikely to get touched accidentally. There are three functions- one steady bright light, one steady slightly dimmer light, and a flashing/strobe light. It has a thin rope with some rubber tubing slipped on to it that comes off the bottom of the light making it very easy to hang it somewhere that is easily accessible, which is much better than having it buried at the bottom of an equipment locker when it is needed. All in all, I am curious to see how it holds up. Also, we got this in the middle of winter (thinking it would not still be where we saw it when dive season starts in June), and my husband is currently using it to check cows. We raise some cattle, and check them daily to be sure everyone is ok. While it is better done when there is daylight, on occasion we end up doing it after dark. Having a super bright light is very helpful, and since the one my husband usually uses broke, he immediately started using this one. It is working great.

This little floating spotlight is a good size. Not giant and heavy like the ones my dad had. Its small enough that you can pack it in a backpack with your other gear its also light e ough to carry on your wrist with a strap. Its not the brghtest one I've seen but it gets the job done. Not sure how long the batteries will last I haven't used it long enough for them to run down.

While browsing one of my favorite isles in Walmart (fishing %26 camping) I made a find! I hadn't seen this model boating flashlight previously. Well made %26 compact. I'll give it to partner for Christmas %26 if he doesn't like it, I'm keeping it for myself! 🙂

This spotlight is very well made with good quality products. It is very light and easy to carry. The spotlight emits a good strong beam of light. An added bonus is that it is made of waterproof materials. I highly recommend this product if you enjoy outdoor activities like camping.

This light is BRIGHT! It has high beam, low beam and flash mode. It is really bright on high beam! Looks like a normal light on low beam. When i saw it is powered by 4 "AA" batteries, i had my doubts about how bright it was going to be... I installed the included batteries and SURPRISE! It is real bright! Being LED I guess "AA" batteries is all it needs. Also being LED the batteries should last quite a while. This is going to be quite handy to have around the house or in the vehicle. I would definitely recommend the 500LM LED FLOATING SPOT LIGHT to anyone needing a spotlight style flashlight!
