The retractor feels very well-made, which is what I like most about it. The retractable cord is very durable and securely retracts back into place. It allows for easy access to any items attached to the tether while also being strong and durable, so you do not have to worry about the cord snapping or breaking when in use. The tether, while easy to unclip manually, is designed in a way that makes it difficult for the buckle to accidentally become undone, so you do not have to worry about losing your items once they are tethered. Overall, the retractor is well-made, easy to use, and keeps items secure.

Its great! It fits my track mount very well. I liked the fact that I could tighten the knob way down, and the product didn't crack. The retractor line also has great tension, and can be used for some heavier items. It seems to have been made with quality materials. Super simple to use and install. Much better than previous products I have tried!

This is a quality product well constructed with good materials. This will be easily attached to my kayak and will help keep my gear safe from loss in the river. This will be easy to mount on track and user friendly for easy access to my favorite fishing tool.

This is a must have for the kayak fisherman! This product mounts onto the universal track mount on fishing kayaks and easily reels in dropped items that may have otherwise be swept away in the current, or sink. The retractor is easy to install and also to secure. The clip is snug and opens easily as well. The cording is three feet long and retracts quickly.

I realized very quickly that I needed something like this. It's a must if doing any sort of multitasking as you don't have to worry about losing stuff. You do need to buy the track separately, but there is a nice combo kit that comes with rod holder and paddle clips, or just a single track will do. The retract tool attaches quickly and is easy to adjust. Also, it extends 3ft out and has been more than enough for me.

This product is easily able to be put onto your kayak. The retractor is easy to pull and is a good length. You can tighten it down pretty good, without it breaking. The product feels very durable and doesn't seem like it'd break easy.

I will be honest, I thought this came with the track but the back of the pack clearly states that the track is sold separately. I've completely stretched the cord out at least 5 times so far. I have not had an issue with the cord retraction back to the measuring tape.

This Drift retractor is great! it's everything u could ask for, a simple straight forward design that's lightweight and durable. No extra bulk, and easy to install. I love how the pinch-clasp allows me to take my knife (or phone, or oar, or rod) off completely whenever I'd Iike. the mounting couldn't more intuitive, and I could imagine actually using this for all kinds of activities not limited to the water!
