Dabble, The Fast Thinking Word Game

I received this product in exchange for an honest review. Dabble is a fun and engaging game that is easy to set up, easy to learn, and a quick to play. There are a couple different versions/suggestions of how to play Dabble - one with a timer and another without the timer. I think when playing with a mixed group (kids and adults), we found playing without the timer was more fun and less stressful. We have played many times and it's different every time. There are lots of positives: learning new words, improving spelling skills, and also remembering to help each other, encourage one another, and complimenting one another. Another interesting outcome has been building strategy and questioning choices like do you build the five and six letter words first? If you have the blank tile, how best do you use it? Do you break up the smaller words for a chance to make words with a higher score? Or is it best to complete your board first for the bonus points? All pieces fit in the box easily so clean up is quick. The kids are eager for their cousins to visit so they can play Dabble with them.

My child and I had a blast trying to outdo each other with the words and how to score the most points. We seldom had all 5 words for a "Dabble" but we sometimes went with how many words versus the other person and who had the highest score count per letter. Easy cleanup afterwards and the pieces are sturdy and well constructed. Highly recommend this game for a quick and fun family game night.

I love that you can jump right in without a long setup, but it still challenges your brain. I’m a senior citizen and played with my senior mama. She loves a good competitive game and can’t wait to play again with other family members. It’s good for our older brains to stay active, It’s perfect for family nights or playing with friends, and we ended up laughing trying to beat the timer. Definitely a 5-star addictive game that keeps you coming back for just one more round! I highly recommend for everyone,

We had so much fun together, laughing and frantically coming up with words, that we played it 2 more times after that! It comes with a 2 minute timer, but if it's too difficult to play each round in 2 minutes, you don't actually have to use it. This game is super fun for all ages that can spell!!!

Dabble is a fun and fast word game where each player races to build 5 words of different lengths using 20 letter tiles. The 2 minute timer adds excitement and makes it competitive. It’s easy to learn, great for older kids and adults, and perfect for family game night. It can get intense in our house, but that’s what makes it fun!

I love word games and this one is a lot of fun and challenging for me which I love. I played this with my 10 and 13 year old grandsons and it was a bit to difficult and frustrating for them to play with the timer. We decided to play without the timer and that seem to help them.

The tiles are durable, and the racks mostly work well (I had some issues with tiles sliding down now and then). We did not play with the timer, my kids are 8 and 9 and were worried about that putting too much stress on the game. But we still had fun overall! It’s a great game to test your vocabulary and spelling. It’s fun to see what words everyone comes up with and compete score-wise.
