Great value, but poor packaging

It was a gift. My son loved it!

I picked this up because, probably like most people, I have bits and pieces for cleaning different caliber firearms all over the house. This is the first "complete" cleaning kit I have ever purchased. No, there are no cleaning fluids included. But everything else is there. Everything for my purposes anyway. To each their own, but I never felt the need to own 50 cal. rifles or anything like that. One AR and an assortment of handguns is all I need for recreational shooting. All I can afford as well! The case is nice too. Previously I had all these little tools in a couple of shoe boxes. This set certainly reduces clutter. As far as the quality......I have not used the set yet. But I have no worries. Similar sets are sold by just about everyone, and for much more money. In addition, I always use some type of aerosol scrubber first. So I am not having to put a lot of pressure on the rods or whatever to clean the firearm. For the money, there is nothing not to like.

This was received as part of a product review program. The case is super lightweight and looks like solid metal, but is actually plastic. Everything you could possibly need is included in the kit. I was very pleasantly surprised on how well stocked and well packaged this ended up being. I am getting a couple more as gifts.

Everything we need for cleaning and maintaining our firearms in tip top condition. Having everything all tucked neatly into the easy to carry case makes all the difference. I have to admit cleaning the guns and rifles after practice is not my favorite activity but this makes it almost fun.

Although not "top shelf" quality it's not bad either. All of the pieces are sturdy enough, and comes with two cleaning rod sets (for different bores/tool diameters), and a bunch of different caliber brushes, patch holders, etc, all organized in a metal-framed case. I doubt you'll find a better kit anywhere near this price point.

Why just buy cleaning set for one gun. This is reasonably priced and has cleaning products for every use. If you own one now you might purchase another again. The cleaning rags and brushes did a great job cleaning my small revolver. The oils they provide allowed the brushes to flow easily and sufficient. The revolver was spotless when I finished cleaning. My friend was very impressed with the job and is considering buying my old revolver for themselves. I thought about opening a cleaning service. Well it has enough to do it. Great product. Very well made case. It is perfect.

My husband absolutely loves this cleaning kit and although he doesn't have a pistol he has cleaned every rifle he owns. He said it's the best birthday present he's gotten in 10 years, you go ME... Take that brother in law. Maybe if your good your wife will get you one for your birthday lol... The kit has everything you'll need to clean all your guns before hunting season arrives. I thought it said in the discrimination that it would be in a wooden box but it came in a merle case, I'll have to go back and read it again... Nonetheless it made my husband happy so I'm Happy

This kit is great for all types of guns. Works great. Comes with everything shown. Easily stores everything, and small enough to store itself as well. We have a handgun and a rifle and has everything for both. Would definitely recommend. Also good quality.
