This universal gun cleaning kit has all the tools and accessories to clean your handguns, rifles and shotguns. I like that everything is in one kit and I don't have to buy multiple kits to clean all my different firearms. The kit is put together nicely and they have included everything you need. Great price and good quality cleaning tools. It even comes with a bag to store everything in.

I have been pleased with the cleaning kit so far. Seems like all the parts are going to last for a bit and do it's job. We have used it to clean a few of our guns and it has met all of our needs. I have recommended it to a neighbor and they bought one as well.

I love this cleaning kit. It is capable of cleaning ALL my weapons. My 9mm pistol and my 357 revolver. It cleans my 12 gauge shotgun, and my Ruger 10-22 rifle. As well as my AR15 and Ar10 in 308. With the prices of guns nowadays, you cant afford to NOT maintain your firearms! This kit does a fne job for all of the most common guns anyone is likely to own.

This kit was able to clean one .38 special revolver, and two .22 long rifles. Granted, my husband hadn't cleaned them in quite some time. So us running out of the cloth strips wasn't a surprise. The kit worked as advertised. We had what we needed to clean those three guns. I definitely recommend if you have multiple guns.

I do like this kit. It cleans the shot gun good. It comes with everything needed to clean your gun. Do recommend this kit. I like all the items or comes with. Makes it easier to have everything in one pack/ one spot. It's good for pistols too btw. Can't go wrong there. No buying separate attachments

For someone who is just starting to clean their own fire arms, this universal kit is a great way to get started. As you use this kit, you will begin to get a feel for what works for your firearms and where you might seek better cleaning materials, as there are many to choose from. Following the basic steps to clean any firearm: unload, breakdown, scrub, clean, lubricate and reassemble, this kit gave me the flexibility to clean most of my handgun, shotgun and rifles Although the copper wire brushes was not on brush, if you check to make sure the bristles are not bending (which means the brush is too big for the barrel and can damage the interior it was fairly easy to find the right size brush. The same issue applies to the jags for pistols. For each step of the cleaning, I found that I had the right tools and they were easy to assemble. For lubrication, I would recommend researching the application and amount of lubricant, as it will vary for each firearm.

I got this to clean both my 9mm and my shotgun. It was nice to be able to clean both guns with one kit. Easy to use and it does a great job. I would recommend this kit.

I already had a small cleaning, but this one has a lot more tools than mine the rods are stronger work great on my 22 and 9m. Thank You for allowing me to test.

I have always used a couple of better known cleaning products that go back many years, and comparing them to this one causes me to term the Gunmaster Universal Gun Cleaning Kit, lightweight. It just seems like it is comprised of lighter built components. That being said, it does put you through the paces of bore cleaning as the other kits. It comes with most of the things needed for a bunch of different bore sizes. It does not get them all. Hence, it is Universal to a degree. I cleaned the bore of a single shot 12 ga. gun, and it did just fine. The cleaner and solvent are low odor, which some may appreciate. I kind of have an affinity for the nostalgic smell of the old school solvents. That reminds me of hunting trips when I was a kid. The ones supplied seem to do a decent job though. The only things I want to suggest is that, one, the cleaner and oil bottles would be a lot nicer if they had applicator tips rather that just caps. It would be a lot easier to get the chemical where it needs to be. I poured some solvent into a jar to soak the brush with. The other thing is that it would be good if the package was some kind of closable, reusable container to keep things together. A blow molded box, or just a box would work. By the time I got mine open, it was no longer suitable for storage. I managed with some packaging tape, and put the whole thing in the cardboard box it shipped in. Okay, I guess.

I got this kit and at a quick glance it mentions .22, .30, .357/9mm 12 gauge and 20 gauge. It has the bronze brushes and some nice swabs to fit all these calibers, but it only has one slotted cleaning pad holder. This is a large slotted holder that is too large for any caliber except shotguns. With all the nice attachments this kit has, it would have been easy to put one small slotted cleaning pad holder in the kit. With this kit I was only able to clean my shotgun. I do have other kits and was able to borrow a pad holder from one of them and clean my 270 and my 9mm. The solvent does loosen the powder residue nicely and makes for a good cleaning job. The oil is light, as it should be, and works well as a lubricate. The other thing this kit needs is case to put all the parts in. I have a small tool box that I use so, I didn't need a case. This kit is okay for an add on kit but, as a stand alone get one with a case and the attachments you need to do multiple calibers.
