D'Addario Acoustic Guitar Humidifier Pro

I've been playing guitars for over 50 years. Just a simple device like this one can make or break any guitar here in dry, dry Denver. Soak the sponge inside with distilled water, put the device between your 3rd and 4th strings on your acoustic guitar (making sure that the humidifier isn't overfilled, or you will end up with a guitar growing mold in its sound cavity), put the guitar in the case - and let her sit for 2-3 days. And, voila! The wood looks happier, the guitar plays better, and your guitar will reward you with great tone. I do this 1-2 times a month. Just remember - you only use this when you put your guitar in its case. It isn't as effective when the guitar sits in a guitar stand, or a wall hanger. It's the best expense I can think of for less than $15. You should use their strings too (my favorite).

I like ease of use with the product however it does not connect or hold to the strings as stated. We will see how it works over the next several months. This product is something that is tried over time. It cannot be judged in just a week or two.
