D'Addario strings are just great. I love the tone and I swear they last noticeably longer than Ernie Ball which I hate to admit. The extra high E string that's included in this pack seals the deal for me. I've snapped way too many E strings on relatively fresh sets of strings to the point it was becoming a money sink buying a whole new set each time. These no doubt are saving me money and reducing frustration on my part. Their rewards program is actually worth signing up for. They offer free shipping and you can buy ANY of their products using points. Right now I'm eyeing their coffee mug. These look good, sound great, and feel smooth. I put D'Addario strings on my daily played acoustics too, and use their reeds on my woodwind instruments. Honestly I have not had a single bad product from them.
Very nice strings especially for the price. My old one broke unexpectedly and thank goodness for Wal-Mart delivery I was able to get these in just an hour or so! Very convenient!
I put them on my guitar and hooked everything up, and they sound amazing. i am very impressed with the durability and quality of the strings and how good they sound on my guitar
Haven't used yet but they are a good looking set and the right thickness with a good and tight wound used this company before always been good
D'Addario makes good bright tone strings. The extra E string can come in handy. Free delivery is convenient.
Nice strings, reasonably priced. I bought a Chinese guitar and of course I needed new strings strait away. The Chinese guitars have a reputation for not holding a tune. This is mostly because the Chinese tuners have some backlash, so you have to tune the string flat then come up from below. Also when they string the guitar they only put about two turns on the tuner peg. To hold a tune you need three or four turns. But they clip the strings short so you can't restring.
ez to order and quick delivery although priced a little more then GC
Great strings ! Only brand I use
PLEASE NOTE: FOR ELECTRIC GUITARS!! My screwup: I had hoped they'd work for an old and tender acoustic Gibson, but not so much. IF you have a bipole pickup across your sound-hole, these may (or may not) work well for you, they're certainly nice strings and well made, but height-above-pickup-pole on an acoustic will probably work to their detriment. If only THOMASTIK made a nice, smooth wrap set for acoustic (I use them exclusively on my 1914 Gibson mandolin) I could die a happy man.
Like I said I didn't have a problem with the product other than it being soaking wet and hours and hours late as well as being charged extra for a delivery time they never intended to keep. They should not offer delivery times to customers and make them pay if they cannot deliver by the time chosen by the customer. I never even received a delayed shipping message or anything. Very unprofessional. I will be keeping an eye on my bank account closely to see if I get that money back.
