Not for precise accurate cuts.
Definitely not for detailed small cuts. I use it to cut a piece of printed paper in thirds. Doesn't cut precisely even against the top built in wall so there is something off somewhere. The guide and grid lines are crooked and useless. The grid is too big at half inch blocks anyway so you you have to guess. It states that slivers of paper are not a problem but it doesn't work so it is a problem. May be good for general, not precise cutting so I'll give it a star for that along with the fact that the arm stays up safely.
