Daikin Mini-splits had very positive reviews from HVAC techs I spoke to, so I decided to take advantage of the great pricing on this 18K BTU heat pump mini-split offered by Walmart. The equipment arrived a few days earlier than promised and in perfect condition. Delivery even moved it into my garage, where it is presently installed. The install was straightforward with the instructions, and I now have a warm workshop during these winter months and look forward to the cooling in summer heat. My biggest challenge was running power from my panel on the wall opposite the equipment location, but my son solved that for me. The unit is whisper quiet. There is nothing better than entering your car from a warm garage during northeast winter months.

Works just great
We had one before installed. This is our second installation. This is a very good product line. It's quiet the handset helps get the product to work quickly and we get a lot of good AC in the summer and before you know it when I need it for the heat in the winter boy did it help a very good product very happy. I'm watering another one soon.

Great unit
This unit came quick and well package from the seller. It is a great size and powerful unit. We use this in the garage and it keeps it nice and cool. Has a controller to easily switch settings. Very quiet snd efficient.

Fairly easy DIY installation. I did need help to vacuum the refrigerant lines and do a pressure test. Super quiet operation and very efficient AC unit

unit ok third party vendor not so great
I did not like the vendor. The install kit on one of the units didn't have the correct spacers and screws and wiring harness. I had to pay more to get these items from Home Depot and contact with the vendor was complicated and vendor had multiple names and phone numbers which seemed sketchy

Cheap bracket quality
Brackets is cheap quality, can't hold condenser. We have to buy stronger brackets from distributors costing $250. Too early to say about the quality of cooling, insulation in progress.
