Perfectly portioned little cottage cheese cups with an excellent taste. My favorite brand! I eat one of these most days as a snack for the high protein. I also tend to use one or two in my cooking when dairy is needed. These blend smooth with some eggs and my favorite add-ins when I'm baking egg bites at home for less money and better flavor than buying them elsewhere.
The single serve container is quite handy. The low fat version only has 20 or 30 fewer calories and, in my opinion, is not worth the sacrifice in taste. Also, I have never found a cottage cheese that tastes as good to me as Daisy. I won't try other brands anymore, because they consistently disappoint.
I like Daisy cottage cheese because it doesn't have fillers like cornstarch in it. It's also gluten free. I've been buying the large cartons, but since trying the individual packs I'll be switching to these. They're the perfect portion size for a quick snack or for adding to a salad. And I won't have to worry about the whole carton going bad if I forget to eat it once it's opened. Great for people who live alone or have small appetites (or just need handy snack sized portions).
Daisy Natural Cottage Cheese, 4% Milkfat, 2-pack 5.3 oz Cups (Refrigerated) 17g of Protein per Serving. This is sold as natural milk, cream and salt ingredients only content cottage cheese. THIS portion (so do not eat two containers) on the daily RDA's (Recommended Daily Allowances) is a 20% source of saturated fat. 10% calcium, 4% potassium, 8% cholesterol, 34% protein. Left smaller qty's out like 2% iron for instance. But if you pull this up online you can review the label and RDA's besides you should do that whenever you buy. Why did I buy this smaller more expensive portion. Because it IS a single serving. Eating a single serving is the best way to force me (or you) to portion out the cottage cheese, as noted above. Open up a larger container and it is easier to eat too much. So, this seems more expensive, but consuming less and being healthier is really less expensive! That is where "they" get you on everything you eat. Bet you can't eat just one, really is the problem. Once you drop off some weight, feel better in general. It is much easier to maintain healthy portions. This is just one food on your daily menu, if you are taking the right approach. If are not, throw in some exercise. Hope this was helpful. You go look at a review and get a lecture! I know huh? 🤪 Oh and there are other brands that will match this, in case they are out. But this is a good one.
I am on a high protein diet and I buy this cottage cheese brand a few times per month. I usually buy a bunch at a time so I have them on hand. I like them for breakfast, addition to lunches or a quick pick me up snack. Always fresh, creamy and simply amazing. We order for delivery a lot and this always comes on time and still cold. Care is always taken with our deliveries. Thanks Walmart!!!
This product does not have all of the additives that are in other brands. Also, I like the smaller containers. I'm a senior woman and may not be able to eat a whole large container before it spoils. The best thing, this product is the same price per ounce for the small and large containers so I'm not spending more.
Snack size -Great Texture Not watery- Daisy is Quality -Yummy alone or add Fruit Or add to Salads or I have added to my sandwich after watching Tik Tok ideas ! Thinking I'll try topping my steamed vegetables to get my Protein daily intake upped. I use the protein calculator dietician's use to find my recommended daily Protein intake Here's the site : calculator.net
these are a very convenient option from having to open a larger container of cottage cheese if you just need a little for a little something these are perfect. I like the ingredients nothing artificial and certainly no maltodextrin that most companies put in their cottage cheese. sometimes I sprinkle the little cinnamon or add some jelly for a little sweetness. sometimes I eat it savory on toast, baked potato or anything else.
The taste is really good, and I like the portion size for a quick snack or breakfast. However, the main issue is the packaging. When separating the two cups, the lid tends to rip, which makes it messy and harder to use. The design should be improved so the cups can be separated without damaging the cover.
Foil lids on containers damaged product was leaking at delivery. Refund requested for damaged product but Walmart wanted item returned and would not pick up. I can't drive so could not take to store to return so I'm s.o.l and the $ I paid for open leaking product.
