Daiwa QZ750 QZ Ultralight Spinning Reel

The QZ750 is Daiwas top of the range ultralight/ice fishing reels. I own one of each of the models in the range, and this one is worth the little bit of extra cash if you can swing it. The cork grips are super comfortable, and it's a much smoother reel than the lesser models.

Great reel, very smooth with a great drag system. You will be impressed with the quality. Would high recommend if you are in need of a smaller reel for trout fishing or pan fish. I am using the reel on a 6ft St. Croix rod setup for trout fishing.

Higher quality spinning reel than i have found in any ultra light spinner before. Six bearings means smooth action. Drag seems perfect too. Fit and finish is also much better quality than other reels, this reel truly is higher quality all around.

Needed a reel bigger than my 500 series but not a 1500 series. This reel fit the bill. Spooled it up with Sufix 3lb nanobraid and put it on a 6ft Shimano Sojourn Rod. It casts like a bullet. Drag and retrieve are smooth so far. I used it on the local lake and pulled 24 Black Crappie and a 2lb smallmouth. Did notice the nano twists up on the reel. No problems so far. Will need to get a spare spool. Will rotate to a 5'6 UL ugly stik for fishing trout streams. Price point is fantastic. Recommend it on initial use. I do not give 5 stars til I see how it goes for the season.
