This is a multi-use item for us. In addition to protecting the bark on young trees we use it for tying up tall plants and bushes in our pollinator garden to keep things tidy. It is much, much stronger than it looks. Always have some on hand.

it works. wraps the trunk. i can only surmise it is breathable and protective. it has survived several good rains and splash from the sprinklers. you have to have room to get around the tree, so do it before you guy wire the tree or plant other plants near the tree.

After much research, I found this product to help my magnolia tree that was run over and snapped in half from a contractor's trailor. I initially wrapped the tree in duct tape until this wrap and graft wax arrived. I removed the duct tape, loose bark, and support stakes. Applied the tree grafting wax, then the tree wrap. The fabric is lightweight, breathable, but strong enough to support the trunk with the added support of ground stakes. I was given this tree for my 40th birthday, from my dad over a decade and a half ago. My father is no longer with us, and this tree unfailingly blooms every year around my birthday. I hope and pray that the steps I have taken will allow this beautiful tree many more years of pleasure, for myself, the animals, and beatles that pollinate it. I needed to wrap the trucks on our young fruit tress to deter the woodpeckers! The only thing that I would change is to offer it in white. ( helps prevent sap starting too early in the spring).

I wrap my fruit trees every fall and this wrap has worked well. The rabbits and voles and moles will not be able to chew on the young fruit trees which ends up killing them. It works good.

A vendor from Walmart's market place never shipped the item. It sat at their post office for a week. I cancelled my order and got a refund.

seller never shipped it. "Fatboy" seller never shipped and no communication. I had to initiate communication. I will stay away from anything this seller has listed.
