Cools my large bedroom very quickly, fairly quiet compared to some other units i've had. Lightweight, rolls very easily, love having a remote!

Good brand, works great!
I like this AC because we got the 12000btu, and it cools my kitchen (16'x22'), and open concept thru the dinning room, (11'x11'). Only used it one day so far, but it did wonders. We purchased another Danby in 2013 10000 btu, and it is still going in the other end of the house.

very good AC, happy with my purchase. Cools our 10' X 12' room very quickly.

comfortable can't complain
I like that I have the option to select the variable selections from room temperature to moisture removal and auto if needed. The best part are the vents that move so that the air do not circulate in one direction they move if desired.

Box was smashed ( a walmart thing) but luckily the A/C was not damaged, works well

Noisy and not as powerful as described
Noisy and it doesn't cool down as much is it says. It could properly cool down a 25 ms2 room but for a larger room, it wasn't enough. So noisy! Couldn't have a good sleep at night if was on during the night.

Make so much noise you cannot concentrate on anything and it's not even in my living room. Rattles and vibrates

Very POOR AIR CONDITIONER!!!!
Does not cool the small bedroom it is in, I want to return it however Walmart is stating that it is not returnable. This should be illegal. The 1st month's electric bill was $150.00. That is ridiculous.

Very load noise and bad customer service
Very load noise at operation!!! Besides, the machines arrived with box broken. After opening, I found one sliding panel was already used and damaged one. Contact customer service for replacement, never got any reply. Very very bad customer service.

peace junk
I bought it and have used it for 2 summers the first it did a decent job not sure who wrote the manual but there is info missing that might be good to know now this yr took it out to use it and it was changing from ac to dry not being on auto so not really working for the hottest time of the yr Danby help line is not open in the evenings or weekends for the price I would expect it to last more then 2 season if I could give it no stars I would
