I bought one 23 years ago and that one lasted for years, I recently bought another one, it's a good one but here's the differences, the older model had an agitator, dial knobs and the wash cycle was way longer with more options but didn't have a lint trap. The newer one has a lint trap which is AWESOME but they got rid of the agitator, dial knobs (which suck) and the wash cycle is way shorter with less options. It would be awesome if they brought back the older features with the lint trap (make that two lint traps) and then they'd have the perfect washer!! Hopefully the new one will last as long as my old one did.

My 3rd Danby washer in 40 years. I love it! However, this one was difficult to level as there were no outside dials.

It is working as expected. The wheels are leaving black marks on my floor.

Doesn't look like an add on. Fits the mission so to speak.

compared to my older small portable washer... the tub the clothes go inside is soo shallow, half the length of the actual machine. my old one tub was deep as the washer was in height. they are both exactly the same size, only difference is the Dandy cheated ppl out of a deeper tub. and when i did a load of clothes the tub doesnt even oscillate!!! it vibrates then stops then vibrates then stops...over and over as if that gets anything clean!! wtf!! oh, and i have to wash bed sheets on a twinsize bed... my old washer sufficiently fit and washed the comforter, pulliw cases and sheets in one load for a TWIN BED. this new washer only holds a twin comforter at a time... so thats two loads of laundry to wash one twin size bed set. for 400 dollars, i am very disappointed.

When you select normal wash the machine selects a water level that's only 1/4 of the tub deep. How are you supposed to fill the washer 3/4 with clothes and then wash it in 1/4 of a tub of water. This is beyond annoying. The only way around it is to select Jeans or I suppose Gentle or who knows? This really makes me angry. It's obviously not a normal wash at all. Another thing is it makes a really loud rattling noise when it washes which is maddening. Another thing is if it's on normal wash it washed in 1/4 tub of water and when the rinse cycle begins it only empties half way and leaves a lot of dirty water sitting in the tub and then fills for the rinse. On the final rinse cycle at least it empties all the way thank goodness. Another thing that makes me angry is the drain hose is too narrow to fit over the sink counter so I tied it to the drain hose but if you need to use water to wash hands or whatever, when you take the inlet hose off the assembly connected to the faucet, you have to stand and hold it to make sure it and the drain hose don't flip out of the sink and drain all over the floor. What an annoying cheaply made machine. My old Danby portable washer was superior in ever way to this horrid machine.
