Danby 3.1 cu. ft. 2-door Compact Fridge in White DCR031B1WDD

I wanted a small fridge that I could use with a medium-sized generator if the power goes out. This really fits the bill. It uses a small amount of power and has a separate door for the freezer compartment.

Great delivery, to the door, second fridge of same type I've had. Works good, double door lets me get to the ice cubes much easier than a small freezer inside.

Bought online a month ago, for saving my snack, cake and ice cream. Small size but cooling is strong, also very quite, very satisfied so far.

What I like and what I don't. I loved the price, the size for my needs as a second refrigerator to handle the overflow is perfect. Installation was a breeze, plug and play. I would like to have a manuel freezer setting as this was is automatically built in, which means no adjustment. The freezer will need to be defrosted every six months which is not a deal braker but a minor inconvience.

This is an excellent compact fridge that has a separate, self-contained freezer. It freezes ice very quickly! I bought this model because I needed a compact fridge that had an extremely reliable freezer as I keep medication in it that needs to be kept below 0 degrees. Other compact fridges only have very small, not fully enclosed, freezers and they can be very unreliable. This one is perfect!

We bought this because for the second time in 6 months, our main fridge is dead. We are waiting for parts, but with a family of 4, need to store food in the house. This will allow us to keep refrigerated essentials cool, and will also provide extra storage for holidays once we have the other one up and running. We chose Danby because we have another "dorm" fridge that we bought nearly 10 years ago that still works great, just too small. I like that this fridge has a light inside. The size is great. I also like the separate freezer. Only thing I wish is that it came with a small ice cube tray.

I have had this fridge in our guesthouse suite for 6 months and it seems to be working fine. It doesn't have the greatest fit and finish. When it arrived the door to the freezer didn't shut because it didn't align with the opening. Fortunately I had to switch it to a left hand opening, and that way it works fine. The separate top freezer has more room than other models, but you loose a lot of space in the fridge itself and I miss the plastic fruit and veggie holder in the bottom. Stuff tends to roll out. Next time I will get a model that has the smaller freezer unit and the plastic holder. Plus the model was advertised with wording that led me to believe it had automatic defrost, but it does not.

bought it online, besides two small hole dent spots on the doors it's fine. a real deal would of been $129 or $99
