Danby 7500 BTU (5000 SACC) Portable Air Conditioner in Black (DPA050E2BDB-6)

Using this unit a supplement for an hvac ac system struggling to reach a guest bedroom. Works great, good quality, strong breeze of cold air, would recommend. Product does exactly what's it's designed to do. Excellent company.

Nice and quiet Black Portable "3 in 1" AC for our LR. I love that it has a higher drain hole to run a hose down to our basement sink. Easy to use/read control panel on top of unit.

This portable a/c is ultra-quiet machine, and with the quick and efficient cooling is a priority then this is your machine.

This is a great little unit for a small area like a bedroom. My bedroom is 12x12 and this unit handles the hot nights like a champ. I do have a 12,000 SACC unit cooling the rest of the apartment which helps this unit keep up when its extremely hot. During moderately hot nights I only run this small unit. Quality is good and install was easy. Two fans speeds cover all situations and the movable louvers work well. Fan on high obviously makes a sound however its not too bad and a fair trade off for a great cool nights sleep.

Style is acceptable, I'm a function over form type person anyway. The included WHEELS are great, moves easily over carpet. The hose is of very high quality and will NOT disconnect from either the window OR the unit when you move it around a bit. The hose expands and contracts with ease, each spiral snaps tightly together when compacted, and it's pretty long too. The hose does get pretty warm to the touch despite how thick it is, but I don't see it at all being necessary to insulate. Window kit is GREAT and can fit any window in my house (some 60" tall, some much smaller) both standard and casement. Drain hose is of good length, I like how and where it connects to the AC (bulkhead half way up unit on back).

Hi, I received my product today, for the first day I can say it seems I have a good product

Everything works except the remote does not connect with the machine making the remote useless it's very frustrating and wish I could get my money back but I can't I am very disappointed

Decent little AC unit, however they should either not include a remote or not advertise it as having one.. when the one included does not work..at all.. 50% of other reviews I have read on this unit, all complain if exact same issue.. Danby may want to look into this..
