Danby 8.5 Cu.Ft. Upright Freezer, Manual Defrost, Mechanical Thermostat, ESTAR

I brought this freezer in 2022. It set in the box in my garage for 3 1/2 years because the one I already had was still working after twenty years. It still works, but needed defrosting so I switched it out with the Danby. Works like a charm!! Even though I only have two years warranty on a brand new freezer. I think it will give me service as well as the one I replaced, which by the way still works.

I have had Chest freezers in the past but this is my first upright freezer. I like it very much as it is easy to retrieve frozen food from the different shelves . A friend had told me that Dangy products were good so some months ago I bought a Danby microwave. I like it. So that is why I bought a Danby freezer

Nice looking unit. Delivery was flawless. Setup was easy and once I let it get to temp and filled it with items, it is keeping everything frozen. Unit look nice and fit my space well. I like the fact that there is a five-year warranty where most manufactures only give one.

I just received my new Darby freezer and am very satisfied, It fits my space very well. The gentlemen who delivered it were very considerate and did a great job placing it where I wanted it.

I am happy so far with my choice (8.5 cu. ft . Upright Freezer). I hope that I'll be happy as well, 5 years from now. One thing to mention: it would have been even happier if the freezer had light inside. I still give the freezer 5 stars.

Our old freezer no longer kept food in the "safe zone" ... it was 48 years old and had done it's duty. I hope this one lasts as long. We needed a smaller freezer for two retired folk who no longer wanted to dig into the bottom of a chest style deep freeze. This one fit the bill. And fit the space, and we were able to get it into the basement with just a little effort. Warranty much better than competition. The fit and finish look good. Significantly more costly than the 'odd named" ones on offer but expect quality to cost more.

I've owned an airconditioner, dehumidifier, washing machine as well as an 8.5 cu ft freezer with shelves in the inside of the door. I've always got great appliances when buying Danby brand in appliances and serve me well over the years. No other appliances compare to Danby for quality, last for many years with great price and warranty.
