This is a really good air conditioner. It's definitely more modern. It's cleaner, quieter etc but be aware that this unit is for windows that open upwards. We bought it, and didn't realize, but it was okay. We were able to make it work with sliding (side) windows. Read the description before purchasing so you know. I do recommend this unit, it's excellent ❤️

This air conditioner works really well. It cools my living room very quickly and is perfect for this summer. It isn’t very loud and operates smoothly. The front panel gives a really nice look. Additionally, the Wi-Fi feature is helpful and easy to operate using a mobile device.

Très contente de cet achat! Refroidit la pièce rapidement. Je n’ai pas encore testé la fonction wireless mais j’apprécie la manette qui permet d’ajuster la température facilement. De tous les climatiseurs que j’ai eu, c’est le plus silencieux.

I have another wireless air conditioner that I use with the app and I love it. I bought this one because it was wireless Wi-Fi. I got it several months back when the price was good. Now that I’m setting it up there is no iOS app to download.. as an air conditioner it works basically OK. But I feel misled because there is no Danby app to download in the Canadian App Store.. I can’t even return it now because it’s too late. If you’re looking for a window air conditioner, this works. But if you’re paying a premium because you want to be able to control the air conditioner wirelessly, you will be sadly disappointed as I was. I was very surprised because I have bought other danby products that I have been happy with. My Hisense-Fridgemaster window AC has a fantastic app. I can do many things remotely. I am even able to monitor electricity usage. I regret that I can’t buy another one like that having spent the money for this one. The smart wireless features and being able to control it remotely, or with Amazon Alexa was important to me 😞
