I purchased this 10 cu ft refrigerator to replace a 7 cu ft non-frost free unit I'd had for years. The new unit is only an inch or so larger in the various dimensions than the old one, and fits perfectly in the laundry room. I'll have to get used to the freezer being at the bottom, not the top, but I knew this when I purchased it. It was on sale at a very attractive price, so I got good value.
Very convenient for a small apartment appliance. Fit perfectly into a small kitchen. I like the convenient placed Fridge handles and access into the Fridge and Freezer. It's very quiet and easy to clean.
Really like the frig on top. I am older and now dont have to bend so far to see into my frig.
We are off grid and require energy star appliances this model is very good drawing lessthan 3amp. The new fridge model is very good the old model with top load freezer would not keep ice cream this model will easily. The door shelving is much improved and with bottom load freezer all daily used produce is simply easy to reach at waist height. Stainless doors look good. We have only had this fridge in our home for one month so cannot comment on service quality but considering 18yrs old Danby fridge was still working we are hopeful. Good job Danby simply functional improvements
Just arrived and un packed, it seems like a very nice refrigerator. Our apartment building is elderly housing and the space only allows for a 24 inch wide refrigerator. I have tried just about every one available, some good some bad. This one has a bottom freezer and is easier for our residents to use the refrigerator and not have to bend down as much. Time will tell how it holds up. If it does I will be purchasing many more.
Love the size. Very convenient to have the freezer on the bottom. It is a little noisy.
It keeps food cold in the fridge compartment and food frozen in the freezer. It uses above average energy compared to other similar models according to the EnergyStar information that came with the unit.
