Danby DCF035A6WM 3.5 cu. ft. Square Model Chest Freezer DOE

Just received today. Bought because have had Danby chest Freezers it the past and they all just worked and lasted a very long time. Hopefully nothing has changed.

This is the second Danby chest freezer we have purchased. The first one lasted 40 years with no issues and is still running but the seals are gone so is time to replace. The new one is a bit bigger and fits is the same space. It easy to read controls at the bottom. The drainage hole on the bottom will make it easy to defrost in the future. Just plugged it in two hours ago and it is already cold enough to put our frozen food in.

This is a great little freezer for anyone with no space for one. We had a 10cu. ft. that was taking up too much room so when we needed to replace it, we purchased two of these. We kept one in our kitchen (where our old one was) an put the other in out basement. The perfect size for our small family.

Thrilled with my chest freezer! I bought a small one 3.5 but it's still huge! Mine is in my mudroom and it's compact enough to fit without taking up the whole room. I'm using it for my meat and chicken and it's freed up my fridge space! Love it, thank you!

Got this on a great sale for a garage freezer. Fits perfectly into the space and has a lot of room. Danby products stand up well. I have purchased Danby freezers in the past and they are still going 15 years later.

The freezer will handle everthing in the refrierator freezer, which makes it perfect when it's time to shut down the refrigerator for cleaning. Small foot print fits in the basement or apartment.

Delivered yesterday, waited over night before turning on. Lots of space for a small freezer. Perfect for our apartment. I look forward to seeing how well it works!

Spacious unit for 5 cu ft. Levelling legs and rollers make unit slightly unstable at times, but not tedious. Works great on medium setting with limited frost

The product was just what we needed to fit into our space. It was light to carry upstairs and fits lots of food to minimize grocery shopping. The freezer did come dented in two places from the store though.

The unit has a small footprint so I like that. The question is whether the unit will or will not have issues over time. So that is tbd. This is a warranty replacement unit for a previously purchased unit.
