Danby DCF050A5WDB 5.0 cu. ft. Square Model Chest Freezer DOE

Simple to set up, got started and runs without any issue. Noise is not an issue, seems to be working well and functions with minimal energy usage as the 'box' itself is great at insulation, providing extra cold protection. So far no issues with frost but it has been just a few months of operation.

This is my 3rd purchase of a Dandy chest freezer 10 cu. Ft. I have never been dissapointed. Perfect, size making it easy to organize and clean. Fits in smaller spaces, quiet and light for quick confirmation that it's on. Highly recommend Danby products

We purchased the freeze as part of our freezer order. It works very well so far, it's very deep and cold. We will promote Danby stand alone freezers.

We only had a small space, and the Danby 5.0 cu ft maximizes what we have. Easy set up and the item looks great. Excellent price too.

So far, so good ! Just had the freezer delivered yesterday so I can't comment a lot about how good it is. Pleasantly surprised to see that it has a light (many online reviews said it didn't ) It replaced a 30 year old chest freezer ....hope to get even 1/2 of that lifespan out of this one :)

I live in a condo so the size is perfect, as it fits perfect in my dining room against the wall. I am disappointed it has two spots where it's damaged especially where you can see it, probably from shipment. I don't feel it should affect the running of the freezer so I won't return it. When compressor is running it's just a low humming sound. I just got freezer one day ago but so far it's working great.

Nice size... like the wired baskets and easy to read and manipulate temperature control on front of unit. Just received so just hope that the longevity is good, as many new appliances seem to have short lives.

Brand new freezer - looks great, but too soon to speak to quality. However, we've had Danby products before, so our expectation is high :)

It is not 7.0 cu ft!! If the motor compartment is counted then yes, but if the freezer space is counted it falls short. Please adjust that on all your freezers so people know the truth about the size. Now people with mobility issues have to find someone to go measure the freezers to make sure that they have the amount of freezer space they are buying.
