Danby Designer 14 Cu. Ft. Convertible Refrigerator/Freezer White (DUF140E1WDD)

I live in Phoenix and it's super hot in summer. This freezer is in my garage and never fails. Everything inside stays frozen. Not only is it beautifully designed looks wise, but it is a solid reliable freezer. I would buy Danby again when it's time.

We're new to the Danby Designer Family's. Our purchase was a Convertible Freezer/Refrigerator to replace our old outdated 4.0 cubic foot chest freezer.We've excited over our Danby purchase of our Danby Upright Convertible 14.0 Freezer/Refrigerator because it Now Allows Us the opportunity of having Twice as Much Freezer Capacity in the Same amount of Space. It Fantastic 😝 !!!!!!!!

We have not had this nice looking fridge for very long. It is working beautifully and really holds quite a few items (more than I thought it would) which has made me very pleased as I was so used to having a larger fridge in our garage. We are using it as a fridge right now as I have a Danby freezer in the garage that we have had for years (no problems). Great!

Have had a. Danby freezer in the past and never had any problems. This new one is bigger and just perfect for our needs. Would recommend Danby to anyone who asks.

I changed from a small chest freezer to this upright. It takes up same floor space, and is wonderful to be able to access what your are looking for without digging. The basket on the lowest level Is a real asset.

So far it's been working great. Only had it less than a week. Using it as a freezer. Manuel not to clear unit set to 00. Manuel no mention to chang temp setting for unit to cycle off unit trying to reach 00?

Advantage: You can set the temperature as required and transform it into either a fridge or freezer. When you buy this product, check with the supplier the serial number which is difficult to find inside or outside the product for registration purpose.

Only been 6 months but..... Easy delivery into our basement, fits perfectly, easy to level. We were looking for a larger one but the store had limited availability, due to covid-19 buying rush, I guess. After looking at the 14 cu ft model, we decided to buy it, and really glad we did. Plenty of room, super quiet, and freezes food solid as a rock! We stocked up on regular food for Covid and I was able to fit the meat from two deer with ease. Highly recommend this freezer!!

We just purchased for meat storage but it seems like a solid freezer and the sales rep had good things to say. Ultimately, we chose this over a similar Maytag model as we liked the adjustable display on the front and the style of the shelves and drawer in this. Also, the 5 year warranty was a good selling point!

First freezer quit (thawed) 24 hours after plugging it in. (Thankfully I had not put much in it.). Our retailer ended up sending a replacement. It's been 10 days and the new freezer seems to be working fine. (Im nervous about it quitting so I do check it frequently.). I find the shelving to be flimsy compared to my old upright. Hopefully the shelves will hold up over time. I like the size but do wish that had added an extra shelf to redistribute some of the weight.
