Very nice

Ray B March 5, 2021

Have had for approx. 6 months. It has performed flawlessly. The temp. readouts are easy to see and it's nice that the inside light comes on when you open the door.

Fantastic Fridge

ToddCalgary October 13, 2023

This was the first wine fridge we've ever purchased. I love the look of the fridge and how well the bottles sit nicely on the shelf. I also really like the dual temperature feature. Also the LED lights elevate the look of the fridge which is proudly used in our kitchen.

Arrived damaged

Vegasdon159 December 16, 2012

When I took mine out of the box and started to load my wine the screw that holds the top of the door handle was broke. I am going through this big exchange process right now, and am pretty frustrated with the whole process. The cooler itself is beautiful and very functional, Im just upset that mine arrived with this door handle defect.

Happy with it

xandt January 7, 2016

Pro: It has a lot of space for many bottles. Good for small collection. The cooler is stylish and attractive. Good feature at the right price. Con: A bit tight for larger wine bottles. The silver trim paint in the front easily scratches off by the bottles. Temperature reset on power outage. This is not really a con for cooler at this price range.

Problem with the door button.

Steven Stienmetz March 6, 2021

The button bracket on the inside bottom, was broken, so I had to tape the button so the light would shut off and the unit would run. Other than that it was ok and works great. I tried to call but never got my call returned.

Nice cooler if you can't install a built in-- which I thought this was when I purchased it online. Wish for shelving depth and height to be equal throughout; larger bottles only really fit on top shelf. Very quiet unit.

Poor Design

spd901 December 24, 2024

Hopefully this fridge will last longer than our last Chinese version, but whomever designed this fridge needs to go back to school. The shelf design is poor, the shelves are flimsy, and unless you have all Bordeaux sized bottles you're not going to get stated bottle capacity. The location of the switch in the bottom edge of the door frame is a poor location and I forsee it failing. We'll wait and see how long this fridge lasts. I was hopeful that a Canadian manufacturer could build a quality product.

Believe all the on-line reviews

TheEquineman December 24, 2012

After reading dozens of on-line reviews, most of which complained about receiving a damaged unit, I decided to take a chance and order one. Like so many of the reviews from various on-line sources mine arrived damaged and I had to haul this 100 lb unit back to Walmart. What a pain and disappointment since it was a Christmas present for my wife. Most of the reviews I read on-line were not from Walmart, so I'm not blaming Walmart for the damages. The packaging was poor with very little protection, so I blame Danby. I gave the rating all 1's because in my mind receiving a damaged unit is the same as one that doesn't work. I realize that in some respects this isn't fair, but it is what it is.

Poor wine cooler.

BonBon January 7, 2016

Love my 2 small fridges, dislike my wine cooler. It always goes back to factory settings after a blurp in the hydro, and has to be reset again. It constantly runs---short spurts--on a few minutes, then off a few minutes---often with a loud clunk. We find it very noisy and annoying.

Lots of water damage

Jay2 January 9, 2025

It leaks very often, when pushing the door it does not always stay closed, it closes badly and reopens, when the person doesnt realize it right away, the refrigerator leaks a very large quantity of water on the ground for a long time. Same thing when theres a power outage ! It damaged our kitchen island !!
