Danby Designer 4.4 cu. ft. Compact Fridge in White (DAR044A4WDD)

I'm very happy with this Danby bar fridge. The white interior makes it bright and easy to see everything inside, and the auto-defrost feature was a must for me. We also reversed the door, which was fairly easy to do and a nice bonus.

This is my second Dandy mini fridge. The previous one stopped cooling after 8 years of use. Although I wished it had lasted longer, we decided to buy another one based on the good reviews. We liked the idea it had no freezer compartment because we use it to store drinks in our family room. It looks good and works great for us.

I bought this Danby all refrigerator to convert to a home kegerator for my, home cold brewed, draft nitro coffee. This is a popular model for home keg conversion. Since this Danby will hold two kegs, mine also has a commercial 5.2 gallon Sixtel keg for my beer drinking friends. NOTE: Stripping the shelves off of the door voids the warranty. Take the time to level it on a solid surface and it will be as quiet as any quality refrigerator. This model is exactly what I expected it to be.

This all-refrigerator is well appointed with shelves and door bins, which makes for less open-door time (easier to find what you want). My unit, however, can just barely get the bottom (coldest) shelf below 40 deg. F., when set as low as it goes. This in a cool room, with plenty of air space around it, and not jammed full. The service from Walmart.com is, as always, superb.

Unit is great. But shipping put a dent in the door and no one seems to claim responsibility.

Had a same size Kenmore that was great. Finally gave out after 15 years. Sorry I bought this one as it is no good for keeping water,beer etc. as the coldest it gets is 40 degrees.

When I received this fridge it would not sit or adjust to sitting level....wobbled opening the door. Found that it was bent underneath the rt. rear side...could not repair. Likewise, had plugged it in and after a couple of days of trying to cool, on high, would only get down to 40 degrees. Boxed it up and returned it. Bought a different brand at a different retailer, in the same size, for 74.00 less. Only rated it a one star, since I could not figure out how to rate it a NO star.
