GOOD LOOKING FREEZER TO COMPLEMENT STAINLESS STEEL APPLIANCES.
FITS GREAT IN THE KITCHEN WITH THE FRIDGE NEARBY WHEN THERE ISN'T A LOT OF SPACE. PEOPLE HAVE COMPLEMENTED HOW GREAT IT LOOKS.

Nice Freezer But No Light
I ordered this freezer from Leon's Furnishing after seeing it online (many stores do not have display models). I wanted a smaller size upright freezer and I like the Danby brand because it has been around a long time. I wanted shelves on the door, which it has. I was also looking for an Energy Star freezer and was happy to see this model also came with a 5-year warranty. The photos all show bright pictures of the inside of the freezer, both with and without food. I ASSUMED it would have an LED light inside and was shocked to discover there is NO light in it. The freezer is in my storage room with no windows and just an overhead light, so seeing inside the freezer is a challenge. I will have to keep a light handy to see what I'm pulling out! It's such a little thing (my 30+ year-old chest freezer has a light!) but makes a huge difference! I hope Danby will put them in all their freezers in the future.

Do not buy this freezer
Bought this freezer 6-7 years ago. Compressor has gone out twice. We lost full freezers of food both times. Do not buy
