Danby Designer DUF167A4WDD 16.7 cu. ft. Upright Freezer in White

This freezer is very convenient to have as an additional appliance in our laundry room. So nice that it is not a chest. Great to keep frozen vegetables and pizza. I should have purchased earlier.

Item seems of great quality, shelves are strong. Door storage is abundant. Compressor is quiet when running. Easy setup with adjustable legs, and temperature control.

Freezer appears really well made and solid. There is plenty of shelf space and the shelves on the doors are really suitable for storing small bags and packages. I like how the freezer is garage friendly. Everything looks easy to clean and the temperature controls are simple to operate.

The freezer is the perfect size and is spacious. It can also be placed into a garage if needed.

I have always wanted an upright freezer and I am really satisfied with the space it provides compared to the chest freezer I had before.

Very nice modern upright freezer. Lots of interior space, and really sturdy wire shelves. Loved that the door handle could be reversed, as well. Looks nice next to my Danby frig, (3 years old and working great) in the basement. I choose both of these appliances from Danby because they provided a 5 year warranty, which is rare for any thing purchased, these days.

We recently had our power out for 5 days and the items in our freezer showed no sign of thawing. I actually even put things from my small freezer and my refrigerator in it and it froze the thawed items and kept the frozen items frozen. Also really like the light inside when you open it.

Just purchased the appliance a few days ago. I chose this make and model for the fact it had 5 shelves in the main area and 6 shelves on the door and the shelves were wire instead of glass for better air flow. The only thing that would be better is if it was a 20 cubic foot instead of a 16.7 cubic foot. Mind you having the extra shelves allows you to maximize on freezer space usage.

It has worked wonderfully up until just before the warranty expires.

It's a great freezer while it lasts. There is a lot of room inside for our family of four. Unfortunately I have gone through 2 freezers in 2 years. Each time it randomly defrosts and won't get cold again. The first time I lost all the food in my freezer, this time I had bought an external alarm so I caught it in time to put into another freezer.
